Yeah, this date was actually on a foreign Netflix social media channel. Some other release dates got leaked this way, so it definitely looks credible right now.

December sounded like it was going to be their target for months.

The thing is that Bale in TDK and TDKR also didn't look intimidating or imposing at all, which is why I feel he's the bare minimum standard. So to have a Batman that's even skinnier than that... I'd just find that completely underwhelming. It'd kinda feel like all this giant buildup to finally see him as Bruce Wayne and then meh, it'd just be him looking slightly different on a batsuit or a suit.
Like I said, I really hope he impresses us. I never fancasted Pattinson based on how he looked at the moment, but rather how he could look when all it's said and done.

Invader is right. Batman's girth in Batman Begins stretched our expectations very wide. Which itself was then broken, left bleeding by Affleck's juicy, veiny monster of a frame.

Can Pattinson's average size satisfy us anymore? Will we feel anything?

Hilarious. Phoenix should've just kept his same physique for Joker! It wouldn't have made any difference. After all, it's just a character's body, it's not like that tells us anything about the character except... routine and psychology but who cares about that pfft. Screw Robert De Niro, Christian Bale, Joaquin Phoenix and other actors that transform their physiques to craft roles. Fools! They should just come in making no physical effort whatsoever. Christian Bale should've just been skinny for American Psycho!

It's not that I want to see Pattinson in a homoerotic light. It's just that undoubtedly, physique absolutely matters for a performance.


If he was playing a fat character, I'd want him to be fat. If he was playing a drug addict, I'd want him to look that part. He's playing a ****ing superhero that has no superpowers and 100% depends on his physique to fight crime, of course I want him to look the part. It's not a matter of wanting him to look hot

What a goofy point. Pattinson is gonna be in a moulded rubber body suit the entire time. His physique is hardly essential like those roles.

Those suits always look terrible if the actor isn't already in proper shape. The reason Brandon's Routh Superman suit has seamless padding while Levi's Shazam suit is super noticeable is because Brandon was already in proper shape.

Like someone said before, padding should enhance an actor's physique, not compensate it.

Someone that is physically intimidating enough to actually scare an armed and violent criminal. Like BvS Bruce and Batman. TDK Bruce looked like an ordinary guy and TDK Batman looked like an average guy in weird armor.

Looks like 10/18 is a limited release. Nationwide release is 10/25.
