Here in Brazil Comicbook movies are very popular, but there isn't any hype for XMA. 95% of the feedback is negative. There are different kind of complaints, most of them are regarding Jlaw/Mystique( her acting, the fact that she is Jlaw-form even when she is alone with Hank in the mansion and how that "Mutant and proud" thing is meaningless now; the fact that she is the leader). A lot of complaints about how (judging by the trailers) Scott, Jean and Storm won't talk a lot. Complaints about Apocalypse's look, the CGI in the trailer, the black costume, and the costumes based on the comics that look cheap. I mean, at least here I don't think the movie will perform well.

I'm from Brazil and this post is pretty nonsensical.

IMDB is filled with anti everything. It's IMDB, which is obvious trolling. Every comic board is like that there, with posters constantly pitting one side against the other. Why anyone takes those boards seriously is beyond me. It's worse then the site that shall not be named.

As much as I would want the film to succeed... I have a hunch that it would reach an amount less than 600 m (hope I am wrong). I think that the removal of the older characters (from DOFP) cold hurt the film. First class gained 300+ million while DOFP gained 700+ million if I am not mistaken.

The OT trilogy cast was most of the budget last time. Don't have to worry about those guys hogging the budget

If the $234 million budget thing is true and the marketing budget is bigger as well then it would be bad if it didn't. I think a lot depends on what we'll see tomorrow from reviews and fan screening.

Wouldn't be uncanny if this becomes the fourth comic-book movie to cross the $300 million mark this year in North America? With all the good hype from DOFP and Deadpool, that shouldn't be a problem, right?
