can we please focus all our energies to dislike Kinberg! lol :oldrazz: this guy is such a travesty of a writer...

Can anybody explain to me why he is even hired by studios to write? Is he related to any important FOX executive or what?!

I agree he really needs to get far far away from the XFranchise like they really need him gone.
That's literally they need to do, they mentioned Proteus as the next villain, that would be perfect. Have the existing team plus Xavier vs him, with Moira involved as well. But Magneto and Mystique need to be left out.

Proteus is a villain they won't want to kill also, so they could make he story more intimidate with only a few set pieces.

I would love to see Proteus onboard I think that's the approach the next movie should make, not overly flashy like Apocalypse but something like Proteus could truly work. I'm thinking that's why the reintroduced Moira and included mentioning her son. Magneto and Mystique should not be apart of the next movie.
Can we please get someone else onboard for the next movie.

Yeah, Proteus would be the perfect villain because it makes it personal for Moira/Xavier, who clearly ended Apocalypse as a united force.

Magneto/Mystique in the background as X-Men supporters don't bother me, but I wouldn't be devastated if they were left out either ha

without singer i am doudtful on proteus.

I feel it's more likely if they don't start going into phoenix they will go with sinister.

I wouldn't mind Sinister personally but I don't think they will do Pheonix since that's a project that Singer wants to do. I'm hoping that Singer dosent come back though personally.

i think what hurt the box office was that we are in such an age of the comic book movie boom with so many of them coming out(6 this year) that you cant afford to give them a movie that looks been there done that

BVS and Civil War were different,Deadpool was different,DOFP was different,GOTG was also different same with suicide squad

audiences want something fresh it is also probably why antman didn't explode at BO since it was just a standard origin story super hero film

Looks like actuals are in

"@ERCboxoffice: X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is the #1 movie in North America: $65,769,562 (3-day) $79,810,133 (4-day)"

Man, I for one would be wildly disappointed if this was the last time we see this younger X-Men cast. Especially after the way Apocalypse ended, I am so hyped to see more if them and as a fully fledged team this time. I'll be real bummed if they never pick up on that thread. I hope this makes enough money to justify more.

They've already said the next X-Men movie will be set in the 90s, or Kinberg said rather but he's a stupid fak face :yay:

I almost feel like making a poll, to see if people would rather

a) Want the next X-men movie to be in the 90's

b) Make the next X-men movie in current modern times, make no big mention of time period at all, just have it be assumed "today".

I would say skip to modern day if I didnt enjoy the new kids so much. I think they deserve a follow up film and they owe us a proper Phoenix storyline.

Hellfire has no showrunners.I am surprised it's still in works for fox since it appears fox turned over legion for some strange reason to marvel.

At least now we know why Legion isn't in contunity of X-Men CInematic Universe. It's In marvel's universe.

Umm, FX Productions is part of Fox.
