Canadians are awesome. James Cameron, Ryan Reynolds, Celine Dion , Justin Bieber, etc :)

I can't even see the new avatar movies grossing 1 billion ww

If Avatar was released now it wouldn't reach a billion, I'm 100% certain of that

Avatar was one of the earliest films to have the 3D gimmick and thats pretty much overused now

So everybody thinks the next Avatar movie won't even make a billion?

I figured Apocalypse would drop even harder than Days of Future Past. A front loaded series plus mixed word of mouth does not equal a lighter drop than it's predecessor.

Worldwide: $291,607,152
box office mojo don't update the overseas sales until sunday 12 midnight right?

Avatar sequel will easily gross a billion. Will it do as well as the first? I seriously doubt it. But that brand after one movie is still strong. For some reason Cameron knows how to capture the general audience imagination.

I also think the next Avatar movie will cross the 1 billion mark and i don't think it will beat the sales of the first avatar movie cos well, it's a very huge figure.

I wanna know though if he will still go with a film budget of more than $200 million. Probably and I hope it's not going higher than $300 million because he has to think that and I think that no matter how bad the next avatar movie will be, it will still reach a billion.

The sooner Marvel gets control of this franchise, the sooner we can see an awesome X-men movie. Until then, that will never happen. This latest installment has cemented that fact.

what a ridiculous statement!

Marvel did only 3 great movies in 8 years...why should they be successful with the X-Men franchise?

I'm not doubting Avatar 2 at all. I can see maybe it being a disappointment domestically (although probably not), but it is going to explode overseas.

Iron Man, Iron Man 3, The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man and Civil War. I count more then 3. :cwink:

Marvel has more than 3 good movies in 8 years, and they never made movies as awful as Origin and X3, not to mention other Fox Marvel movies like FF, Daredevil, and Elektra. But I don't believe X-Men rights will revert back to Marvel anytime soon.

Being non-bias (As I prefer X-Men comics/games/animation > Avengers)

I thought the following MCU movies we're at least 8.5/10

Ironman
Thor
The First Avenger
Avengers
Winter Solider
GotG
Age of Ultron
Civil War

Only ones I can't rewatch are IM2/3 TDW...

Why did you say that?
Now this thread is gonna have pages of fanboys defending their movies like little soldiers.
