X-Men Movie UK said it'll drop at 2pm tomorrow. In my time zone it feels like 2 days

its a loose reboot and not a proper reboot so certain rules and styles may still apply

they are trying to have it several ways

they want to be free not to abide by what happened in trilogy-of course very few want them to abide by what happened in last stand
at same time they want the fans to still view the trilogy as part of series
and Singer isn't jetsioning his trademarks.Nightcrawler and mystique,when she is in blue form,still look similar to trilogy.the sub-basement and cerebro look he devolped remain.from leaked pics the costumes X-Men wear could almost be seen as protypes of ones from trilogy while the horseman have more colorful
costumes.

add to that according to Singer there are suspose to be homages to all 5 previous main X-Men films In Apocalypse

I like that they are keeping this tradition of using the X for the teaser posters of the X-Men team films. Though it looks like a fan-made poster.

Personally i doubt singer will ignore the last stand anymore so then he has X1 and X2

at same time they want the fans to still view the trilogy as part of series

It reminds me of the star trek loose reboot which used time travel to free up stuff even though they obviously wanted to acknowledge past films at the same time like for example they blew up one of the most famous planets in the star trek universe changing a fair amount of continuity but alot of that film was homages or nods to previous films like they showed something that was talked about in wrath of khan even though technically that didn't even have be there since they could have done what they wanted

Even star trek into darkness had alot of nods and homages to star trek 2 and Star trek 6 even though a character was brought in early and was a little different to the original

More likely he would look like a human rocket than what you are trying to suggest (Human Torch/mini tornado).

Apocalypse can't led into events of trilogy.Jubilee is now same age as cyclopcs,jean,and storm.and she was referenced by name In X2 and in credits for all 3 films.Nightcrawler will became X-Man In Apocalypse which negates x2 entirely.

Star Trek with first 2 films under it's time travel reboot or AU depending on which one you prefer had into darkness as lesser ripoff or homage to Wrath of khan depending on which one you prefer.

My advice if you want to avoid stress on both star trek and X-Men view Trek as enterprise-minus the final episode-and new films and X-Men as FC and DOFP before deadpool,Apocalypse and other spin-offs.

Bryan Singer talked about callbacks to all 5 of previous films-X-Men,X2,last stand,FC,and DOFP.

I would assume so gueststar.... For a first poster, I think it gives off the perfect message. The tagline and the image itself is so simple yet makes it an event that one wants to see. IMO it also shows that the team is definitely going to be put through the wringer in this film. I also like the call back to the chrome xmen logo from the OT films. Now if I could only have this on my wall now.. Lol... Today is going to be a long day waiting for the trailer...

We know thats been Apocalypse's calling card.
Its just that I've seen that angle tried aand failed so many times in movies. I'm not too worried though, we've seen amillion action movies, they're been good ones and bad ones. I just want to see how they'll be able to pull it off with depth.

That's one thing I like about Brian's Talent, he always delivers a good story.

lol the x-men get owned like nearly every film. haven't proven to be a very powerful team. DOFP future team they were probably the most coordinated and strong but still got roooollled.
X3 is second
they were pretty weak in x1 x2.
but its been well documented of Singer's challenges with action scenes.

Nope. In that X-Men Evolution image it looks like a mini tornado more than it looks like a jet propulsion.
