What is Fox waiting for? Did they decide to rework the trailer after the backlash against BvS or something. I really wish they would release now because next week I'll be too distracted.

I just don't get it. If it ends up being the same trailer from comic con, (which I hope it's not because that one does absolutely nothing for the film) why wait so long to release it. We got Tarzan today and ninja turtles tomorrow which both come out after apocalypse I think.

I think it's high chance it's basicly the comic con teaser.

Fox has royaly bungled the release of first trailer.If trailer for Star Trek Beyond comes before apocalypse there is no defense.

if it's same as comic con they could have released it long ago and gotten a jump on compettion.now only die hard X-Men fans will care.

If it's different than comic con one then it's different story.

Monday at the latest. Otherwise it will be totally overshadowed by Star Was. You'd think they would want people to see it and discuss on it a few days before it gets lost in the shuffle.

It's definitely odd that we don't have a trailer yet, but I'm not sure if it's of any cause for concern. It'll be out in the next week, I suspect. If it's underwhelming then yes, maybe we should be nervous but for now, I think it'll be fine.

Maybe Fox wanted to tweak a few things before releasing the trailer. Like they did with F4? Can't be all bad. I liked the F4 trailer.

I think the lack of marketing compared to what DOFP got leading up to the release of the first trailer is interesting...then again I feel like we definitely got way more from Bryan during filming of Apocalypse compared to DOFP so idk

Fox really need to get a new marketing director for the franchise though. There's been lots of CW, BvS and Suicide Squad stuff lately and whoever does the Marketing with this is doing next to no promotion while the competition lays out loads

Yeah I even thought that the trailer would have debuted at Comic Con Brazil. They brought the panel, the statues of Mystique and Magneto, then gave us nothing.

At least we still have the rumor about some scenes of Apocalypse, I guess.

It can't be the comic con trailer at this point, let alone cut down 20 seconds which wouldn't do it any favours

How mad would I be if Cassandra Nova appears before Mister Sinister? Really, really mad.

And Stryfe could work. It's just a matter of making his helmet cover his whole face and then making his voice mechanically augmented so his identity isn't spoiled.

You should lower your expectations by now if you are already expecting a disappointing trailer.

I think they could visually be different, only thing similar is fire effects but the powers are very different I wouldn't mind seeing him on the big screen.

I know but remember Sunspot in DofP? He was basically a discount human torch. I doubt if we see Cannonball he'll be that different considering how his powers have evolved over the years.

Or they could go the X-Men Evolution route

That would just look like he created a mini tornado around his lower body.

I think people will be disappointed if they are expecting it to be more then just a teaser.

it's getting hard for even those who love the good X-Men films to defend them.

It's one thing for BVS to release stuff.that comes in march.But sucide squad has stuff and it comes in august.TMNT2 is coming out with trailer first and that comes out after apocalypse.and if ID sequel and Star Trek beyond have trailers released online before apocalypse that also is bad.

My postion is if it's new one then wait is justified but if it's just the comic con one with f bomb edited out then there is no defense for the long wait.
