The thing that I've read that excites me the most about the new trailer is more Quicksilver, specifically that it goes over that Magneto is his father. I'm curious how they will show that.

At this point, I think Evan Peters could star in his own Quicksilver movie. Ideally, the movie would be called something like Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch and we'd get Wanda introduced into the X-Men series.

Ideally, he could have his own subplot in one of the movies with Wanda. While, the X-Men are off on the main journey, Quicksilver and Wanda are off on their own journey apart from them.

She's exceptional in that people see the movies she is in. Even her Oscar bait movies get more attention than they would staring anyone else. This is rare. I can't think of many actors who have a box office that follows them. Look at what happened to Johnny Depp. People brought up Bradley Cooper earlier in this thread but even he's not on her level.

I see what you meant now I got it, I was thinking you were saying something else. I'm sure after this movie the focus will shift on different fan favorite XMen so no worries. Our faves will get their due share in the spotlight.

The trailer release strategy for this film has just been bizarre.

It really is - they don't know how to market a trailer release. Build some anticipation!

Yeah doesn't look like it's happening. Shame there isn't a lot of buzz about the trailer showing at CinemaCon either...so far.

It's par for the course with Fox at this point. They're marketing for First Class was abysmal, but they were on point with DoFP. Apocalypse has left a lot to be desired.

It's shocking because Deadpool had some of the best marketing executions I've seen in a quite and while and both movies are from the same studio. Of course, they probably have two completely different teams although I can't imagine there wasn't some overlap.

Honestly I'd do it for free! I have some ideas, I don't know if it's all conflicts in scheduling and costs, but it feels like this movie has another 3 or 4 months until release right now... Not a month etc.

Yeah nor have I... But could just be a candid shot from DOFP or something with his blazer off.. Or another past X-flick. I can't really remember what suits he wore apart from X2 tbh.
