This is starting to get REALLY GOOD.

This movie already has so much going for it. Bryan has the opportunity to finally make the X-Men film we've all been waiting for since 1999. He has the budget, resources, studio backing... everything! With the introduction of a new yet incredible antagonist, the pieces are coming together for such a great visual and thematically grand story. And no messy timeline/time travel/continuity fixing to deal with this time!

Nicholas Hoult has worked with Tye Sheridan in Dark Places and Kodi Smit-McPhee in Young Ones.

This a solid team of X-Men. I hope they all suit up and we get a cool team up action scene like in DOFP

I really hope they make him Mystique and Azazel's son!!! They can just throw in a random flashback that says Mystique had him before DOFP and that's the reason why she's so angry in the film.

Time wise it could work if she had him shortly after First Class. 1964-65 for example. That would have Nightcrawler at 18-19 in this.

Don't think Mcfee could play any age younger than 15

well...that doesn't make any sense. were they supposed to hire old actors to play these characters in the 80s? just get over it already.

This effectively the origin of some of the original cast and it is wrapping up the prequel trilogy according to writer Simon Kinberg.

Nothing to say the original cast won't be back in future movies. Patrick Stewart is possibly appearing in the next wolverine sequel.

With a movie coming out right after it makes to much sense to Include Gambit. He just needs to ride off on a motorcycle Wolverine style at the end of Apocalypse.

Surprised this is getting so much attention, although obviously Night Crawler is a fan fave. Seen this kid's work before and it is pretty solid. Good choice.

I wouldn't say hell of a run, aside from Stewart/McKellan/Jackman of course. The stench of X-3 will always remain. Something to remember, had Singer been able to make his X3/X4, would we have ever gotten this trilogy? A prequel perhaps, but a story like DoFP could have easily been bypassed for sometime. One things for certain, this young cast has big shoes to fill, and we don't know what the long term strategy is for this franchise aside from some spinoffs.
