From what Feige has said recently some have speculated it won't be until phase 5.
He has pretty much said whatever happens it will take a "handful of years" and certainly "won't impact the next 5 movies".
I find it dishonest to act like McAvoy and Fassbender are irrepleaceable when they have been coexisting with Stewart and McKellen until very recently.
The only one I could see that argument for is Jackman and he will be replaced at some point. Wolverine's too much of a money machine to let him go.
Hello... Jared Leto and (possibly) Joaquin Phoenix, after Ledger was also deemed as definitive.
Hello... the many James Bonds, of which the recent one had the highest grossing Bond film.
Yeah I'm surprised such a far-fetched proposal wasn't dismissed as a giant waste of time like when I posted reddit "spoilers" for this movie.Anything's possible sure, just like it's possible Kinberg will turn in a good script...but if past is prologue it's highly unlikely. Optimism is a great thing but when optimism has one hoping and/or thinking this movie makes Black Panther kind of numbers then be prepared to be disappointed.

So, Feige's comments are used to disprove people who think the X-Men and FF are showing up rebooted in MCU soon, but not for people thinking there are "secret" plans ongoing to merge Foxverse and MCU. If Fox and Disney are "business as usual" then neither scenario is plausible.

Someone on here (can't remember who) also warned us that we should be careful about assuming the 3 month delay of the movie was for reshoots. The classic "Nothing to see here, folks!"
However, I'm fairly certain said forum member also entertained the rumor days earlier that the reshoots (which we shouldn't assume are happening...) are most likely to line up this Universe with the MCU.

Singer X-Men coming to the MCU is quite literally an amazing fantasy. It'll never happen
There is alot of amazing fantasy spectulations going on around how marvel will use X-MEN... and in that regard i don't think the this one is that much different.
In what regard? People are expecting X-men team members to get better screen time and/or roles in the MCU vs. Mystique and Magneto. That's not really that hard to accomplish ie. not some far fetched fantasy.
The other group is doing some pretty incredible mental gymnastics just so a separate studio can re-hire the cast of a different studio's X-men.
So I disagree, very much different scenarios.
Well, how about Hans Zimmer? I've liked a good number of his previous scores, superhero or otherwise, so I wonder what vibe he'll bring to Dark Phoenix. Sure, that's been talked about before, but hey, not much else going on right now.
I think tomorrow we will have at least one new official photo of the movie.
they are going to have to show something in the cinemacon, practically everyone (disney, sony and etc) showed something of their future releases.
Yeah if they don't show anything or even mention it, that will be very confusing.
