My only fear with the delay is that they might lose Zimmer, and replace him with someone super generic like Giacchino.

Woah... what! Giacchino made memorable scores for The Incredibles and the last two Apes movies. Zimmer has been criticized for aping himself too much lately. I personally wasn't a huge fan of his last two CBM scores (MOS and BvS), MOS had it's moments but BvS was full bombastic.

Interstellar, however, was a great score.

So if people are going to accept that reshoots are happening based on said rumor, then they also have to accept that it likely won't be extensive or significant reshoots due to the standard cost. And guess what else was part of the rumor? The release date reshuffle was planned ahead of time.....and therefore not a delay. We DO know Fox reshuffled a lot of their other films and shows as part of an official announcement. As far as reshoots are concerned, we won't know whether they are underway unless there's an official announcement from either the studio, director, or a cast member. That's my position on it since you're so curious.

Oh, and by the way.....I thought you couldn't recall who made certain said statements: "Someone on here (can't remember who) also warned us that we should be careful about assuming the 3 month delay of the movie was for reshoots." But oh, your memory is crystal clear now? Just itching to get a shot at that as soon as you saw your opening, huh? Exactly as I predicted.

So, how about analyze things a little bit more harder before being quick to type out the next snipe, OK EnDz0n3? Thanks.

We would've almost certainly gotten a trailer in front of Deadpool if not IW if there was no delay. But now? Wait until SDCC. The SDCC crowd will go ballistic about anything that's new footage (which is good optics). That is where they begin the long road of trying to promise this time it will be different.

After the delay, I reserve serious judgment based on that trailer and the one afterward that will be cut for the non-hardcore nerds.

Won't SDCC be before the reshoots start? So the only footage they would have to present that's different from what they already have would be stuff they were able to do in post, which I can't imagine will be drastically different from whatever they've shown in those screenings. They don't have to release a trailer of footage but maybe some new official images or something.

there are other ways to provoke the public, new official image, some teaser of a scene that will not be rewritten, talk about the characters in the film, confirm or deny rumors, fox can not let the main subject of the film be rumors of reshoots .

I can not remember if it was sony or disney, it showed in the cinemacon official image of a movie that will launch in July 2019.

Mine's an educated guess. The history of the FC trilogy is on my side when it comes to that. Or did you really think they won't show her as Blonde JLaw in this, especially after they paid her a boatload of money to come back?
