There aren't enough details in that leak. On paper it sounds ok. The Jean stuff sounds promising IMO. But besides the fact they're judging an unfinished product without cgi or music, I need to hear about specific character interactions and specific action beats to really get excited or bothered.

Something. At last he does something, lol.
Touché. :hehe:

My favorite part is Storm being one of the mutants [BLACKOUT]with the least screen time[/BLACKOUT]. Some things just never change, do they?

It all sounds like crap though.

If that info is to be believed, Hank siding with

Magneto (and Mystique) is very Fox X-franchise. Magneto and Mystique are the true heroes of these new films after all. Even Mystique laying down her life due to Xavier’s supposed arrogance in this film. I guess that’s why she came back.

We follow Magneto’s journey in forming his Brotherhood at the end of FC, after the oppression he and his kind (Emma being imprisoned!) received from the CIA, who really was just using them for their powers. Those jerks! Mystique was the hero in DOFP, none of the TV-watching public saw what Xavier, Wolverine and Hank were doing behind the scenes. The newscast at the end of Apocalypse only mentions Magneto (I don’t remember if by name) as the reason for that villain’s defeat.

Meanwhile the X-men are apparently only getting a pittance of screen time yet again.

Never let anyone tell you that Fox follows trends. They set them trends baby! They made villains the heroes in their movies before Thanos made it fashionable!

What was Kinberg’s quote that he will never make an X-men movie with reduced screen time for the FC trio? I guess they’re finally the FC Quartet now! Welcome to the X-franchise Beast! Hope you survive the X-perience!

If the reddit comments are true, Color me not surprised. Lmao. In true Kinberg fashion! No wonder why they are doing reshoots, probably to salvage the film!

And whatever
happened to colorful costumes, and they are in civilian clothes for the third act? Lmao, I just can tell they are gonna reshoot those with costumes now when they could have done it the first time.

Well, that does sound very Kinbergish. X-Men have X-Factor's arc, Jean has the arc from Singer's original Phoenix, Beast is now Colossus. It is indeed faithful, just to the wrong comics. Then again, maybe this guy just didn't like it.

If all that happens then there is really no scenario where this team will learn. Disappointing.

Well, reading this does not seem to be a bad movie, but a boring and more of the same film
I really hope it's a big lie than he said, I can not believe that on a second try they will again make the same mistakes, it would be something embarrassing.
I'll keep waiting for the trailer, to get a better idea about it

It would have been better if they are just releasing it this year to really know who's telling the truth. Well its almost June so we still have 9 months to go.

another thing that catches my eye
and that everyone (journalist, actors and etc) are saying that it is a very somber film
if this is a lie, no doubt and a huge mistake, the same mistake they made in apocalypse, promised something and did not deliver it, the result already know.

in fact it seems to be better than apocalypse
but people expect much more than just something "better than apocalypse," for a second try, I think everyone expects something really different.

Having similarities doesn't make something faithful especially if its taking inspiration from other stuff, not eXactly the core X-Men comics. Kinberg just takes bits and pieces and mashes things up as always and it ends up with a different and radical take from the comics.

My source who thought this was better than Apocalypse also confirmed it.

Oh ok. Well I mean if they are indeed reshooting a lot of the film or just the 3rd act, maybe it'll improve it. It seems as thought the general consensus from people that saw the test screening was like it was a B.

Also I imagine a big CGI battle would be boring without completely finished cgi. Lol

I'm not really mad at the premise of the storyline either, rather just see it all unfold and judge for myself.

I can't see them
not featuring new costumes and just those plain yellow and blue costumes
for the third act. Like they have already delayed this, at least use your time to make things look more appeasing instead of
keeping them in every day clothes or putting them in generic and matchy costumes.
lmao. I can't believe I was right when I said they are no
other costumes
in the film.

If it was a B for the audience, imagine if the critics have already seen it. It would be way lower than a B. :hmr:

Good thing I don't let critics decide what I would like. Lol

Well critics nowadays especially with Rotten Tomatoes being a popular site for upcoming films, it matters whether you let them dictate what to watch or not. And this film could get a 0% but I'd still watch it as I watch every film of the film franchises I follow, regardless of my eXpectations. But what the critics are gonna say is gonna be a part of the initial word of mouth for the film.

That's pretty much what I said. What the hell gave you the impulse to repeat me and then act like what you wrote was somehow more correct than what I wrote?

You said it is indeed faithful when its not. How is faithful if it taking inspirations from other stuff instead of you know the Uncanny X-Men comics, not the X-Factor, Singer's X3 and Deadpool's Colossus.

Yes. I get all of that.

Nothing goes over your head, does it?

Plus, X-Factor was a main X-Men title for its first 75 issues. Its rule later got taken over by X-Men (Blue Team) to counteract Uncanny (Gold Team).
