Everyone in here knows that they will be nothing like this. Your saltiness is quite grating. If marvel studios puts half the effort they put in their heroes they will alreasy be better than Fox X-men.
Angel
Kitty
Bishop
Scott
Bobby
Ororo
Psylocke
Rogue
Beast
The list of wasted X-men goes on and on......
Very bad news.
It's like to to have (at least) the heart of Claremont's run (Fox), throw everything and come back to the early flat Lee's stories if we are lucky (Disney).
After Disney raped Spidey, Cap, Thor etc... (with the only exception of Daredevil, but it's more a Netflix thing).
Oh well, we will have costumes!

Ah yes, ACTUAL fans of Spidey, Cap and Thor are HORRIFIED at their treatment at the hands of Kevin Feige. How DARE he rescue Peter from Avi Arad and turn formerly obscure characters like Cap and Thor into two of the most popular superheroes in the world!
Keep your hands off our mute, backround cannon fodder mutants Feige! All TRUE X-Men fans know that the only characters that matter are Mystique, Professor X, Wolverine and Magneto!
Let's hope they put double the effort that Fox did in their world building and story telling because no MCU film except Winter Soldier has shown it can handle Xmens tone and thematic depth.
Black Panther had more thematic depth than 90% of Fox Marvel films so i think they will do ok![]()

That's what I'm fearing too, and I think it's even more likely to happen if Dark Phoenix is released... but I also understand that it would be insane to just shelve it.I think you need her if you're going to do Rogue and Kurt again. I hope they don't take the Spider-man route and decide to put important characters like those in the back burner for his knows how long.
Again WS is his best effort and it still doesn't compare imo.
Many of the X-films are watchable in their own right, but overall are vastly overshadowed as far as CBM's go. The X-Men have always been part of a much bigger world, but the Fox-verse has always left an impression of being thoroughly boxed in.Im happy Marvel is getting all its characters under one house, but I dont think people should forget the path the X-Men made for these films, not forget the stellar films that have come from the franchise.
Same here. The potentials are astronomical, and unlike Fox, Marvel Studios is not afraid to explore the fantastical elements of the franchise. It's exciting to see what will come next.I cannot wait for Disney to take over X-Men and Fantastic Four and bring them into their cineverse. Hopefully in time to do a Secret Wars movie.
Well...I liked the first two X-Men movies: X-Men and X2: United, and I liked X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past, but X3 and X-Men: Apocalypse were boring. X-Men Apocalypse was still better, but not by much.
I didn't miss Cyclops or Jean Grey from First Class of Days of Future Past...I understand they are major X-Men but I think adding them was unnecessary, especially if just for Dark Phoenix.
Since Mr Kinberg wrote both X3 and Dark Phoenix, and the spoilers are all pointing to the exact same plot (ie Jean Grey goes schizo instead of being possessed by the Phoenix entity), I think Dark Phoenix will suck.
And Jean Grey was way too powerful a character anyway. With her, the X-Men are unbeatable. She killed Apocalypse.
Rather bring in Emma Frost. And storylines from Joss Whedon's run on the X-Men.
I disagree and think IM is as good as or better than X2.Let's hope they put double the effort that Fox did in their world building and story telling because no MCU film except Winter Soldier has shown it can handle Xmens tone and thematic depth.

Actual fans of Spidey, Cap and Thor (and fans of movies in general) are really disappointed by Marvel Studios.
Yes, if you for 'fans' mean the Feige's fans who read stories on wikipedia pages and search in google for images 'cause the important thing is the popularity (and the money grossed by film), ok you are right.
but for me, to be a fan of Spidey it's not about that.
