That stupid slogan from FC came to mind when I read that Mystique is in human form when in private. Wasn't her whole thing embracing her mutant identity at one point? She even had a falling out with Wolfman Hank when he tried to cure himself of his very minor physical mutations. I guess we're to believe that the now fiftysomething-year-old Raven doesn't care about all that radical mutant stuff anymore.

Tye is one of the best of his generation (see both Mud and Joe). (Even if i think that Dylan O'Brian would have been a good choice too)

No, that's not it at all.The film is called Dark Phoenix, so there would be focus on Jean.

Storm is in dire need of more development and depth, we need to know the reasons she does what she does. We've not really had much insight into the character.

I'm not expecting much in the way of development for Storm in Dark Phoenix but I do hope some of her dialogue makes it into the finished film.
