really curious how each month Bryan gives us a new announcement.

If this is in fact intentional, we will have another one on late Feb.

who will be? :woot:

I bet Storm and Colossus at the same time. To not let the net and haters to focus just on Storm.

at least I think it would be a smart move. Some fans will hate on Halle, but at the same time almost everyone will celebrate Colossus return. So the positive feedback will outshine the negative one.

if it turns out the original cast have minimal screen time that may not go well with halle, while jackman is happy enough to do bits here and there i dunno about halle

the future scenes could last around 30 minutes or so

that would give the original actors enought time to shine and use their powers more than once.

This sequel is a Fame push to any original actor, specially the secondary roles. And Halle included.

If Halle is smart, she will join. in case Fox ask her, of course.

ALL the original actors are excited and want to return, I dont see Halle being the only one to dont want it

Halle has been in 2 movies recently where she's only been on-screen for 5 minutes in a minimal role (Movie 43, New Years Eve). The idea of her being a screen time hogging diva is just wrong.

The original cast Isn't cameos.I am sure there will be around 30 minutes In future.

If ellen Page who has never worked with Bryan Singer was willing to return then you can't rule out halle berry.

Being in part of 30 minutes In future would explain why Hugh jackman would commit to another X-Men film so soon after wrapping the wolverine.Of course Bryan directing helps.ANd hey with Bryan talking about adopting some of cool moments from Comic you may
get your wish of seeing sentinles blasting wolverine although wolverine would get a bit of focus In future scenes before that.

I see Halle Berry definitely wanting to return simply because she would probably love to work with the old cast again. She's great friends with Hugh Jackman (she attended the origins wolverine premier, and wouldn't be surprised is she went to The Wolverine premier as well)

I'm not so sure that the entire internet would be angry with Halle's return. i think over the years audiences have become more tolerant of halle's performance.(she's been in three x-movies) I think fans would be more willing to accept if only for continuity. When I check other boards and read users comments they all seem to be waiting for the Halle Berry announcement, I mean most people seem to expect her to return, and others are indifferent to her return. I think its only a few (very loud) people that would be really angry and negative about her return.

You should check halle Berry's thread at Internet Movie database. That Is full of hate for
her and it has nothing to do with her X-men performances.

Halle returning won't make or break film. Those who just bash and bash X-Men films as
long as disney doesn't have them will never let up.Others will be excited for more cast reuniting.ANd then others will just never let up on her.

I'm talking about X-Men movie fans. Not those stupid lowlives that have nothing to do with their lives but bash halle berry left, right and centre, like those folls on IMDb

Your right that Halle/Storm won't make or break the film but I'd like to see her lead the team of the future. If Cykes' isn't in this then that leaves Storm as the leader. So she needs to be in it. I dread to think who they would make the leader of the team is Storm wasn't in it. (Wolverine)

Surely they will need some more women and some ethnic diversity. Storm fulfils both those. If not Storm, then who?

I don't care if Halle is in it or not, but I do hope Storm gets her due in these films, even if we instead wait until the next film to see a younger version recruited.

Storm definitely deserves her chance to really shine in the movies.
I just can't bring myself to hate Halle Berry for her performance as Storm as others seem to. I still think she was shortchanged (I'm glad that at the very least she fought to get a more warrior like Storm portrayed on screen) and I really think she should come back and get the chance to play a better written storm in these films again. I mean when will we ever get a an Oscar Winner to play Storm?

Yeah, Storm has to be in. Honestly Im not holding my breath that they will give her the time she deserves, but Im pretty sure at this point shes a def in. Would be very cool to give her some decent attention.

I agree. Even if they do add Storm as one of the future cast members, they will almost certainly still HAVE to add one, if not two, female characters to the X-Men roster in the 70's.

Hell, they're going to have to add more than a few more characters to the 70's X-team since at this point only Prof. X & Beast are there.

Yes and since she haven't appeared in a X-Men film in a long time, I don't think the length of her airtime would still be a concern to her.

That doesn't mean anything. As I have said Ignore what actors are saying.

Exmaple-Shawn Asmore right before Bryan Singer announced his return said he had no
Idea on rather or not he would be In DOFP.

If they plan on casting her in a substantial role, don't you think it's a little late in the game for her to know absolutely nothing about the film?

Yeah, that plus the fact that she's had a string (7 in a row!) of box office flops, direct to dvd, and unreleased films! If she was allowed to do it for free, she probably would!

Most of the main cast have at least had some successes since X3:
Hugh - Les Miserables, Real Steel, Origins Wolverine
Iain - The Hobbit
Famke - Taken, Taken 2, Hansel & Gretel
Anna - True Blood
James - Enchanted, Hairspray

first post updated.

this is how the cast is looking right now:

Cant wait to see how the panel gets completed in the upcoming weeks

In the words of Singer himself: Crazy, crazy cast. And that's just now, we haven't seen it all yet!

yeah! lol

I'll have to add more space for upcoming announcements, lol, specially on the FC timeline

Is it just me or does dinklage look like he fits seamlessly with the rest of them ?

Yeah, he definetly does, now that we see them all together

and here is a small twist to the panel:

which characters will fill those "?"? :D

We already know Nixon will join Peter, but what about the 70's x-men and brotherhood?
