I maintain that people expecting to have Wolverine as the screentime leader of this movie are probably going to be disappointed. All we know about his role is that it's "much larger" than in XMFC. Which considering that was a 30-sec cameo, isn't really much to go on. It's already been stated by the screenwriter that this movie is still going to focus on Magneto and Charles.

I love Hugh and Wolverine, but Hugh headlining another film was not something I expected to see. But maybe it's what Fox expects, and since he is the face of the franchise and a fantastic actor who has just been nominated for an Oscar, I'll accept it. In my ideal world, though, the First Class cast would headline, in the same order of the first film.

Why do you think he wouldn't negotiate? He wouldn't fight for it like a primadonna or throw a tantrum, but James is well aware of his own talent and position within the industry. After reading his new interview on Empire, I'm even more sure of this.

Plus, sometimes a stable career and established "stardom" or whatever you call it, is better than to "burn out and fade away".

Well yes you've been quite adamant about your issues and hatred for Fassbender but it's been suggested that DOFP will continue to expand on Magneto's story. If he gets equal time as Charles, he will probably still be first as he's the bigger star (not to YOU, yes yes we KNOW but facts are facts; he's more in the spotlight at the moment. That could change of course but I really don't think you should be getting so upset by the possibility McAvoy's name could be after Fassbenders's.

I agree.james Is almost certinly going to be first class actor with top credit.Hell I think he could get tp billing Inless Fox wants to give that to Hugh Jackman.I yself think Hugh Is most likely to get credited after James and Michael Fassbender just like In X-Men and X2

They are not gonna put Michael Fassbender as the top billing over James McAvoy and especially over Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman is the face of the X-Men series. He's the only actor to appear in all X-Men films. So face it.

I'm going to just go with JP and assume that they are going to alphabetize everyone in terms of the credits--there are just too many damn A-listers to play favorites and somebody's PR person is gonna get pissed if their client isn't listed in the top 5.

Where I think they'll break away is the posters. If I had to choose three names to go across the top in order of appearance I'd do this:

Michael Fassbender*********Hugh Jackman*********Jennifer Lawrence
In my opinion, that's the best mix of new and old and each have a lot of momentum behind them.

However if they do four names on the posters (which is also very likely) I expect this:

Michael Fassbender*********Hugh Jackman*********Ian McKellan*********and Jennifer Lawrence

Hobbit is opening like, the same day. FOX would be fools not to capitalize on Ian's box office draw against their own competition. I don't see them pushing McAvoy's name on the front of anything at this point. Like I said, there are too many names with greater bragging rights....hell, you have two other Oscar Winning Actresses (possibly) on the roster too with Anna Paquin and Halle Berry.

I agree. Alphabetical is clearly the only way to go. Especially for the main cast.

If people like James or Famke are back (and attempts are made to keep it a surprise), I expect a 'with' and 'and' credit, respectively.
