But I'm just excited if Omar is playing Bishop, if Fanbingbing is playing Psylocke (I hope the Blink report is not true) and I feel like the new Stewart guy will be a mutant.

He joined the X-men on the early 70's, on Second Genesis. So this would be perfect timing, and such a cool Nod. At least to me. so fingers crossed.

Yeah agreed! But I just realized, I don't think we are gonna see Polaris and Dazzler in this movie. Thunderbird or Sunfire or Forge would be great for Boo Boo. I don't want to see Sunspot.

dont count Dazzler out, its a likely option.

If Fan is a mutant of the future timeline, we still dont have a female on the 70's, so... Dazzler is a strong option, specially since Bryan wanted her for FC.

It would be cool if the 70's X-men end being:

Beast
Havok
Banshee
Thunderbird
& Dazzler.

I know its weird to see the lack of Cyclops and Jean on that roster, but those 5 x-men were part of the 70's after all.

She's a pretty big star in Asia and I'm sure that has something to do with it as well. I hope she'll become as popular in Hollywood as Ziyi Zhang did after CTHD.

That's who I thought. Forge could construct a Cerebro since Beast isn't in the future.

Daniel Cudmore is included in the cast of the Twilight Saga movies. So he probably appeared in more hit films than the original cast after X3.

He's basically an extra in the Twilight movies! pretty much the same size of role as in the X-men series. Plus, the original cast have actually had a few hits since X3.

Yeah thats hard to imagine. But he could be a young genius just like Beast.

Its not weird to not include Cyke and Jean because the film would have to focus on them if they are in the movie.

But like Colossus, they fought with the good guys (Prof X/Beast) and at the end of the movie, it felt like they stayed with Prof X and be one of the X-Men. It's been 11 years. In reality, neither actor looks old enough to play that age, and next to Fassbender and McAvoy, you need the crew to look younger and in need of guidance.

In terms of X-men. After 11 years, Banshee and Havok would have gained enough control over their powers to not need Xavier's help. Plus, we have no idea where Xavier/Magneto are in their battle. The X-Men as we know them may not be necessary yet.

you didnt get my point, I was meaning seen Banshee, Beast and Thunderbird on the x-men team without their mates Cyclops and Jean, just like the 70's comics, specially the first numbers of Second Genesis.

A team with Thunderbird and Banshee and no Scott and Jean feels incompleted.

But of course I understand their absence. Its not the right moment for their young versions.

dont you find really great how the core characters of the apocalyptic timeline from the comics are confirmed for the sequel?

Kitty
Storm
Magneto
and Colossus.

Many fans didnt thought that Kitty would be back, neither Colossus.

So we can already say that Kimberg, Matthew and Singer have respected this aspect of the comic, at least. So props to them
