I would be very happy if Migenbach doesn't come back. The best she did was the horsemen but everything else was no. The final outfits were a step in the right direction but they need to be fixed.

Oh I agree. But I do think Last Stand would get a much lower RT score today. Same as Origins. I looked at them and expected them to be a lot lowwer.

Agreed. But you do have to look at movies in the context and time in which they were made. I think if Marvel were to release early MCU movies like Thor / IM 2 / IM 3 and Thor: DW today they also would get a lot more negative responses. Similarly the DCEU would have gotten a better reception a few year back.

The filming will be in Montreal so good part of DOFP and Apocalypse crew will be here (Tax Credits say hi).

But Singer works with this team John Ottman, Newton Thomas Sigel, Louise Mingenbach. So, i don't think they will be in the new crew. Hollywood is a small word, you don't have to change 90% of the crew to make a new vision. Everybody works for everybody.

You have keys role ( director, writer, cinematography, editing, vfx team) but they will not change all the team if they stay in Montreal.
The vision will depend of what Kinberg and Fox want.

it will defently have new DOP,editor,composor,and likely costume designer.

they aren't going to replave every single crew member who worked on DOFP
and apocalypse.

this film's vision will depend on Kinberg assuming he is indeed one directing
and the budget fox is willing to spend.and then have film ready for the release date fox sets.

I kinda have the feeling that both (First Class) cast and the crew were kinda drained by doing Apocalypse and that they are all ready to do something new. I hope that shows in the end result.

many crew members didn't work on FC.many were worked on DOFP before apocalypse.and some in visual effects worked on FC but not DOFP.

yeah Singer it seems was tired after putting all his energy Into DOFP after being forced by WB not to direct FC and do jack the giant slayer to fullfill his contract.and his heart clearly wasn't in Jack.Hard to know anymore how involved Donner is in films since after DOFP at least in promation she seems to be focusing on legion and the gifted than the films.

I will be happy when we get something on the 3 x related films that are suspose to be shooting this summer.even with deadpool it would be nice to get release date,official title,annoucement on cable,and idea who besides reynolds is coming back from first film.same thing with both this and new mutants.title and release dates.who is coming back from apocalypse and who is the cast for
new mutants.

Newton did a good job with DOFP, but XMA's "look" was cheap and uninspired IMO. Even BvS with the whole yellow tint and dim nighttime scenes was more interesting to see in terms of cinematography.

I thought Grant Major and NTS did a fine job with production design and cinematography. I dug the neon colors in Apocalypse and it kinda added to the hyperrealism of the world. (The CGI in the finale kinda mucked it all up though) John Mathieson would be a fine DP to have again, but I'm sure we'd get more of the FC look vs what we got in Logan. Which isn't necessarily bad, it just wouldn't be all that different from what we got last trilogy since Singer/NTS were maintaining some visual continuity with FC.

Mingenbach has got to up her game though. And hopefully the new director makes better decisions than Singer did w/hair in Apocalypse. Not everyone can be as charming as Evan Peters to make bad wigs look good.

after some checking only thing i could find on X-Men rumor is rumor fox will make some kind of annoucement at cinemacon.

considering they have both X-Men sequel and new mutants to make news on as well as deadpool sequel that is a possibilty.

If kinberg is directing just announce it so we can deal with that disaster.give us some idea who is coming back in cast.

if fox were to annouce kinberg is directing and they were willing to pay lawrence 20 million to return i would question sanity of fox execs but get it over with and announce already.
