Yea, I'm all about Turner as Jean no doubt in my mind she would be great. Steinfeld would make a pretty great Wanda though.

You clearly don't get the difference between screen time and character development. I say this with respect and not to insult you. If think Storm has been one of the biggest characters with focus then clearly you dont get it. Storm has never been developed, like Cyclops as well. Two of the most popular characters not just in the xmen books, not just in the Marvel universe but in all comic universes or rival companies like DC or Image or whatever you want to refer to it as. Its plain poor writing and not getting the importance of core characters to a story. It'll be like making a JL film where WW has few lines and no development and is just there to display her power for fx. This has been how Storm was depicted in the xfilms. The only reason she even got more lines in future films is because Berry won the Oscar and becsme popular. Cyclops has never been anything but there, an empty suit that just displays his cool power. We know nothing of Scott except that he is um?? Well i know in the comics he's the leader and Storm is 2nd in command and even led her own team. In the movies i have no idea what their purpose is.

I think something legally is going on with Wanda where Fox can't use her but they can but in a certain way. Im not sure i just remember reading that. It could be just another internet rumor but i did question why Fox only stuffed QS in DOFP and not included Wanda when they found out Whedon was gonna put them in Avengers 2.

Angela Basset was never offered Storm, i cant believe that rumor is still going strong. I think it was even mentioned on this site when rumors surfaced that Berry wouldn't be returning as Storm for X3. In a quote from some either some magazine or entertainment site Basset clearly stated that although she was flattered by the support of fans wanting her for Storm that she never turned down the role because she was never ever approached for the part. She said also said that Halle has done a good job and all the pc stuff to say. I just don't know why this rumor of Basset turning down the role is still believed.

So, saw Kingsman: The Secret Service last night (awesome movie, btw) and I'm now 100% on board with Egerton as Cykes. Great actor and is really good in all the action scenes throughout the movie as well. I'm hoping his connection with Vaughn helps him get the role.

Was also really impressed with the actress that played Roxy, Sophie Cookson. I could see her as Jean too.

I was actually thinking that if they show a flashback to Storms parents I would love to see Angela Bassett playing as her mother but I doubt we would get that much backstory this film.

Agreed. I don't think the actresses up for Jean are any indication that her role will be any bigger than Scott/Storms.

actully after the first list of jean candiates are now longer in running it seems very much the three of characters are more likely to be supporting roles of equal importance while focus is clearly on FC big 4 and apocalypse.Unknown how big wolverine's role is.

why would it be just on the main 4? Where does that leave a character like quicksilver? It's more the talent they are going for with Jean I think then how big the actor is

I think we will be surprised by how many other characters are in this film
