He should play Lando. Dead serious.
Ackles, for reference:
Not a good enough actor, imo. I love him to death in Supernatural, but he's showin in his other endeavours that's extremely limited.
Let Harrison Ford do it with Motion Capture, then digitally take him to the fountain of youth!!!
I second, third, fourth etc these
I can see that.
What is wrong with another actor playing Han? They recast Obi Wan for the prequels. They recast Crockett and Tubbs with different actors, the A-Tean, jack Ryan, Superman, Batman, the whole orginal Enterprise Crew, Norman Bates, Tarzan, Conan, etc. Han is not above all those other characters that just Ford has to play him.
Someone (Gianakin) suggested Aaron Paul. That sounds cool beans to me. He looks young enough, unlike most of the guys I saw in this thread.
"Never tell me the odds, *****!"
has anyone suggested Ryan Kwanten?
I just Googled him, he definitely looks the part.
Yeah he could be cool.
I kinda like HR's Josh Henderson idea. I could see him as a young Han
For an old-ish Han how about Billy Burke? He's Miles Matheson from Revolution. He's got the same kind of ruggedness and charm about him+plus they're both quite similar characters.
Tom hardy could pull it off. He hasn't been mentioned
He's in the list above.
That Greyston Holt guy is a good shout.
Oh yeah ****!!
To me, Garret Hedlund looks like a shoe-in:
But not nearly enough charisma (as much as I enjoyed him in Tron Legacy) or that rogue-ish quality.
But with the picture I gave, there's an uncanny resemblance between him and Ford. And charisma and roguish quality can easily be fixed with the right directing leading the project.
I disagree. You're born with those traits, you can't get instructed to display them.
I agree with that.
