The Dark Knight 12 Film Clips for The Dark Knight on iesb.net

I couldn't do it people i watched and i must say if your gonna watch only 1 clip go with clip 8 and treat yourself cause all i have to say is heath is gonna be phenominal

:wow::wow:WOW:wow::wow:

this is stupid.

lol why mus they tempt us!!!.

ah well those clips were all pure badass

In the "we need Lau" clip Oldman's accent was slipping a litte.

I know, what's up with that man? In BB I really could not detect an English accent but then again he did not yell a lot in that movie. He yelled a couple of times in the TDK rooftop scene and I couldn't believe it. I guess he sounds more British when he is yelling, but cmon - let's get an accent coach or something. I hope the editors do something about that because little things like that annoy the heck out of me. The rest of the clips are great. I'm especially digging Bale a lot more in those clips than in the trailers.

Did The Joker throw his knife? I ask this because after the boss is dragged away, it looks like Joker puts it back into his coat pocket.

He throws the knife, then digs in his pocket for his cell phone. You can hear it as the video ends, plus "sending a message" is like a pun.

No, he never threw the knife. At least I don't think he did, I didn't see it.

Speaking of that scene, I really loved how Heath delivered "....how loyal a hungry dog, reeaaalllly isss!!!"

Sounded really aggressive and bad-ass. :D

EDIT: Nvm, looking at it again, he does throw it outta nowhere for some reason.

 You can clearly see him throw it.

And I love that line he says too.

EDIT: cuz I see you edited. ;)

It looked to me like he was just signaling the goons to come over with the knife. Hard to tell at this resolution.

for those having trouble getting the vids to play do this: hit the "play" button in the middle of the screen THEN hit the "forward" button on the player. That works for me every time. So, if you sit there long enough, eventually it MIGHT play but if you hit the forward button, VIOLA! it will play immediately!

Sorry if this solution has been posted. I didnt feel like reading through all of the posts to find out.

BTW, the "Better class of criminal scene is absolutely AMAZING! Heaths Joker is going to get attention and I am hoping an Oscar nod! Yeah, I know, maybe I am overly excited but so far the only 2 "official" reviews have BOTH said the SAME THING!

Nevermind:

I don't get why he throws the knife. Hopefully he goes and picks it up. Haha

And is it just me or when Heath mocks the dude when he says "freak", didn't it seem kinda ad-libbed by Heath? We've read things about Heath making up some lines on the spot and that just kinda seems like one of them IMO.

I knew a guy who would never wear the same pair of underwear twice. Maybe Joker is like that with knifes.

I just figured he threw it to one of his thugs, and they caught it. To cut him up into little pieces. But maybe he did just throw it to the ground.

i thought he tossed it to one of the guys who grabbed dude...when he's being dragged back..i swear i saw a knife at his throat...

I think Heath ad-libbed throwing the knife, too. It seems he was just trying to add another dramatic element to Joker's behavior - very unpredictable. He doesn't wave the knife in the thug's face (which would have been the expected thing to do), he flips it open and then flings it indiscriminately, thereby confirming he's totally off-the-wall.

(Plus, he apparently has so many knives, it doesn't matter how many he flings .)

Haha, maybe. How's it goin DrF?

Yeah, maybe he did throw it to a thug or something like that.

On second thought, this is right. Seems like he throws it to one of his men.

Anyway, I love how Heath elongates the words. It was prevalent before, but he does it so randomly - "a hungry dog really isssssssss," "it's about sendinngggggg a messsaggeeeee," etc.

yup..i watched it again..the guy with the red hoodie caught it..and has the knife around his neck when they drag him off...watch it again

That's it. Freeze frame it as soon as the guy grabs him around the neck, you can see The Joker's knife.

Case closed. :brucebat:

That was worth every second. I've already spoiled myself far too much, so I don't feel guilty about indulging.

Ive only allowed myself to watch the sixth clip and Im kind of underwhelmed at the fight sequence. Too slow for my taste. I was hoping it'd be more like Batman's fight with Ra's ninjas in the Narrows except edited better.

Isnt Batman supposed to get into it with a couple of cops? Hopefully that'll be better.

Bond, I listened carefully, and you're right. There is definitely a beeping noise.

Its 12 clips and some of them don't even last a minute. Watch them you don't spoil yourself at all. Jeeze.

I'm avoiding all of these at all costs.
I too have resisted! :hehe:

I love reading the comments though! :applaud

I just know they'll be better in context, since that's how I am with Nolan films. :yay:
