85th Annual Academy Awards (2013) - Part 2

So Argo is likely to join 3 other movies (last was Driving Miss Daisy back in 1989) in the 85-year history of the awards to win BP despite not being nominated for director.

Got this one right. Booya!

Maybe it's just cause screenwriting is my dream but that speech made me tear up a little.

I got that one too. My bets on Django paid off, between this and Waltz. 17/20.

I was unsure what he was saying for a second. It almost seemed like he was saying "all me, not the actors" till the end - from Foxx's surprised look it almost seemed like he was confused too lol. Another great win. The two awards I look forward to the most.

It's bound to happen more and more, with 8-10 BP noms.

just got chills when the Oscars went to commericial with Tara's Theme

My ALL TIME FAVORITE SCORED SONG

Personally, I think Moonrise was a bit better written than Django. Not that it had a chance or anything.

This commerical with Tim Burton is hilarious.

Did you guys just see that Tim Burton commercial? Because holy crap that was amazing

Just thought I'd add keep on pushing forward. I'm 24 and at the point where executives and vice presidents are already helping me proceed. I'm just a step away now from being a screenwriter. And I started off with absolutely no contacts three years ago. Just saying, dreams are possible man. :cwink:

Yep, one day your ego might be as large as hero's here.

Harvey is happy tonight. I hope SLP isn't completely shut out but it's looking more and more possible.
