Didn't expect it but than were shown much deserved recognition and respect for that masterpiece which is Mad Max Fury Road! Good to see them get on a winning hot streak last night.

Hope George Miller and crew are hired for a DCEU film.

Either MOS2, JL2 or JL Dark would fit him perfectly IMO.

Look into it. Miller attempted a Justice League film 9 years ago. They got as far as testing several of the costumes. Pictures of his wonder woman leaked. I've been waiting to see the picture tests for their batsuit which actor Armie Hammer described as being made of real chain mail and leather.

Why would she think sarcastically saying "Happy Black History" month would help her agenda? She looked pretty stupid.

So apparently the Academy told Sascha Baron Cohen he couldn't present as Ali G so he had his wife slip on his beard in the bathroom right before he came on.

I don't think his bit really jibed with the movie he presented, The Room.

I have to admit, overall the ceremony was a clown car. The monologue was good, but then it just went downhill. It's too bad, because there was some great work done this year in a lot of great films, that deserved a better ceremony than this.

You can't compete with white actors if there are no quality roles written for non-whites.

No one is cut from a basketball team because there's no plays written for white players.

You can't demand something change for you only and scream racism when there has been no leaks or hints at racism. Why isn't it that someone else was just maybe better? What's more? When is everybody pleased? Scripts written for only black actors then take away that job from another actor. You can't have quotas for black scripts. That's racist.

That's true, not everyone is cut from a team because they aren't the star but they may not play in the championship or be on a good enough team to make it to the finals because you want your best players on the court as much as possible to win. Mandating or crying that you write plays for more white people so they can play more is ridiculous. Where is that outrage?

Not everyone likes Superhero films, that's fine with me.

I did find it funny that Oscars hate the genre that is keeping Hollywood afloat though. The Oscars obsessive insideriness has produced yet another low rated show. And no I am not a moron I do not think that films should be nominated based on box office numbers.

If superhero films weren't around, there would be something else being popular though. Last year, Avengers 2 didn't even end up being the #1 film at the box office as was originaly expected. Around the net i actualy find some people who think Guardians of the Galaxy or Deadpool are best picture material.....realy? If anything, i wish the academy would put more foreign films.

"Keeping Hollywood afloat" suggests that if there weren't any superhero films around, Hollywood would be dead. I completely disagree with that notion. I think that role gear more towards "spectacle blockbusters" in general.
