I have to say I was very underwhelmed by this episode. There some nice moments throughout, but there also some poor exceution and sloppy handling of this story. Not to mention some plotholes and weird developments:
The Good:
The special effects-The visuals in this episode was awesome from that Kandorian landing in front of Lois to that army of Kandorians flying at Oliver. Really great job for the SFX crew!!
Clark so upfront about wanting to date Lois-That was a great scene and who knew Clark would be the one to be so blunt and make a move like that. I glad that Lois was worried because she got the dating thing so wrong in the past, but Clark's line about leaning on him for strength was touching. The holding hands while the elevator doors shut was a perfect ending to that scene.
Lois-Erica Durance was great throughout and gave another strong performance. You were really convinced how overwhelmed and scared Lois was in this horrific future.
Kneel before Kal-El-Wasn't expecting that...
The Bad:
The abrupt opening-So Clark with all of his pwoers, steps out of a room and Lois gets kidnapped without anyone else knowing...huh?
Not enough Zod-I would have loved to have seen more of this now General Zod/evil dictator of the future.
Poor use of Clark-I felt there wasn't a strong characterization of Clark in the future. Chloe was leading the resistance in the future and in the present, Chloe was proving him wrong again when he was right about her keeping secrets. Yeah, we got those Clois moments, but not enough of the heroic Clark we've been getting this season.
The Clois love scene-I think all the teasing was better than the final product. It didn't help how they edited the sex scene as well.
Chloe-Boy...where do I begin! Her line about "we'll work on your apology later" was another indication of how full of herself Chloe is now. She once again risks the life of her "supposed" best friend and cousin just to get information about the future. Her future self...even worse! She has a virus that could have taken out the solar towers months ago but didn't do it because she didn't trust Clark...the only person who could save the world with his powers!!!?

The only good thing Chloe did in this episode was die!
Tess-So let me get this straight Tess, you though Zod enslaving humanity was saving the world?!
To top it all off she shot Stiart point blank and he...lived?

The only good thing Tess did in this episode was get slapped by Lois and man handled by Clark...again!
Tess' death scene-Felt forced and why would Oliver be that upset even if they had history?
Alia-Biggest plot device character since Grant Gabriel. yeah, we know how she got the watch but how did she still have her powers when the solar towers went off? Why did she say sorry to Clark in the past when in the future, they barely have conversation with each other?

Besides killing Chloe

yay

, she...was...just...there...
Last and the most frustrating...
Clark "befriending" Zod-Now, has Clark learned anything from last year (Davis!) Befriending or trying to save the villain only makes things worse. I'm not saying Clark should kill Zod and Kandorians but befriending a monster like Zod is plain stupidity.

I really hope the writers have a solid plan for this development because the Zod/Kandorian arc just derailed from how interesting it has been so far.
Anyway, a decent episode, just a weak mid-season finale. I give it a 7/10 for the awesome visuals and Clois finally becoming a couple. "Bride' left me wanting more after it was over, "Pandora" just left me feeling...underwhelmed and empty. Hope the second half makes up for this. Oh and Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!
