The Dark Knight Rises A New Director After Nolan?

No point in BYO since we got BB as an origin film, and BM vs. Predator is good as a fan fiction film.

I want to see a Batman film like Arkham Asylum/City games a little different from Nolan's and no I don't mean live-action films of these games. but I love to see Paul Dini have a go at the Batman films. Maybe also get another script writer to help him out.

I agree no origin film. Batman Begins is enough for me anyway it did a great job showing how Bruce became Batman.

Kat Dennings.

Wildcard.

I was about to say the same to you.

Gosling would make a horrible Batman.

Why would you assume Refn would cast Gosling?

Refn wants to do WW. After seeing his quotes on the matter and how similar his outlook is to Marston's original vision I think his passion for that project is admirable and he should be given a shot with that.

When it comes to the Bats reboot I say Cuaron all day every day. His style is the perfect middle ground between Burton and Nolan. Very in depth in terms of narrative exploration but without compromising a unique stylistic aesthetic. He'll fit like a glove.

Ew, I hate Christina Hendricks, though.

She looks like a big, fat ****e. :o

I'm talking more about his outlook of the character herself and the relevance of the fetishistic elements of the mythos that were prominent in Marston's golden age books. I love Hendricks myself but I don't think she's a good fit for the character either. That's where I disagree with him. She'd make a much better Giganta.

Hah. At least you agree with the big ****e part of what I said. :o

Do you have a link to where he talked about his plans? When I googled it, all I got was stuff about him talking about creating new villains for WW.

I love Christina Hendricks. :hrt:

Alfonso Cuaron for Batman.
Nicolas Refn for Wonder Woman.

Plzkthnx.

There is the possibility than WB may not let the fantastical elements ever get as far as they did in the 90's ever again. If done right the 90's villains could have been good, but if this happens and WB takes things the wrong way, you can pretty much forget about ever seeing Clayface, Freeze or any supernatural character ever on film.

Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Bronson) should totally direct the next Batman film series.

I'd rather Refn do something where he can cut loose. Like 100 Bullets or Northlanders, if he's to do a comic book movie.

Cuaron for Batman! Just think, a 4 minute long uninterrupted tracking shot of Batman stealthing around in the shadows, taking out thugs one at a time, using smoke bombs and batarangs and his grapple gun.

Yes, that is the type of Batman movie i want to see.
