Why are you harping on a point from what seems like a lifetime ago on this show again? It was an ill-conceived comic moment from a far weaker period on this show...let it go. It certainly has nothing to do with the Hunter moment. He betrayed the team because as they made clear before he shot them, their focus was on following the Hydra agent, NOT stopping Creel. He was attempting to do what they didn't seem willing to do: take out Creel.
Why does it seem so hard to believe Coulson would want him? The guy showed his capacity for loyalty (even if it wasn't to SHIELD) and Coulson's explanation is more than plausible, it's understandable. SHIELD has to cling to the few assets they have left, unreliable or not.
And spare us the bit on Ward. It hasn't happened, hasn't been suggested it will happen by anything in the show (hell, he wasn't even in this episode), and if it were to happen, you have no clue as to the consequences behind it. It is just illogical hatred you're spewing at the show for no reason.
