Welcome aboard!
For the most part my daughter doesn't read alot of comics either lol She gets confused at times because she hasn't paid attention to the Movies I've shown her lol
Hi. First post!

Blake. Is he Corrupt? They said that they were basically bated to go see the "fake clairvoyant" by Deathlok. Blake shot the tracker on him, and was convenietly not killed and not at the site. Could he be a pawn in this?

And I don't think Hand is bad. She is just using the evidence she has to take what she thinks is the best course of action. She said to "take them out", but is that synonomous with "kill them"? Obviously she has a way to hear what's happening in the Bus, which is why I think that May said she couldn't say why she is up to what she is (and is also why I think she is not bad), but I still don't get why she went after Fitz the way she did.

Just my thoughts.

Also, what is "Department H"?

Thanks for reading my post! Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Jose
(FYI, I have not read the comics, I'm only as involved as the MCU is).

Remember he was just coming off the stress of having his head screwed with by Lorelai only a short while ago, and the Berserker staff thing a little while before that.

It actually made quite a bit of sense that he'd lose it after all that, if only for a minute. His head had been compromised quite a bit lately.

Damn, Asgard be trippin'.

Such a great episode, having seen TWS I can say that this "end of the beginning" does a fantastic job of setting up that film. The identity of the Clairvoyant is revealed in that movie and I think everyone will be satisfied. Can't wait to see more Deathlok and what happens afterward!

I've seen Cap 2 and I still didn't know who the clairvoyant is. Are you saying its
Pearce or Zola?

It would be hilarious if it turned out Hand wasn't bad after all, and just thinks Coulson's team are the bad guys

This is what I'm sticking with. I don't think Hand is crooked, she just thinks someone on Coulson's team is compromised. Maybe the entire team.

Really ? that's not bad. So it didn't hit it's season low. Hopefully now that they wouldn't have a break and since WS comes out, more people will tune in.

I'm not American but looking at the ratings for that time slot, it might be better for the show to air against shows not called NCIS and The Voice?

That's something they'll have to fix in season 2. NCIS is actually something that has had a big effect on the ratings. During the week NCIS didn't have a new episode, AoS had a huge spike in viewers. The episode was Repairs I believe.

Absolutely loved this episode. Coulson, Garrett, Sitwell AND Blake? Agent heaven :funny:

Spoilers just in case:
Loved the set-up to TWS. Everything from Fury's assignment to Sitwell being moved to the HYDRA compromised boat were covered, and it sets things up perfectly for the HYDRA coup. As for Hand, I don't think she's the Clairvoyant, but I do think she is HYDRA. And she knows Coulson is loyal to SHIELD - take them out and it's another team out of the way.

I said as I came out of TWS that AoS had a real chance to make a mark on the MCU now - and this is it

Now I wonder what would give her that idea?

Coulson wants to know what happened to him, so does the Clairvoyant.
Mike Peterson is currently the only stable Extremis derived super soldier and the first time he's brought into the field he's thought killed in action and Coulson supposedly kidnapped.
Someone capable of hacking SHIELD is involved and who is Coulson's protege?
Hand tried to get Skye somewhere secure but fails and low and behold who finds Coulson and the other super soldiers' along with an agent of Centipede?
Hmm this could very easily be explained, but this would mean Garrett isn't and where would that leave Ward?

Nice episode, but ending on a cliffhanger!!!!!! (anger)

but i think there are going to be a lot of cliffhanger episodes to come

Perfect cliffhanger imo, if you haven't seen TWS, it sets that up beautifully

It's possible.

Once Cap announces that SHIELD has been infiltrated by Hydra, none of the SHIELD agents are going to be trusting each other anyway. Anyone with any ounce of suspicious behaviour is going to raise a red flag.

After all, Sitwell was one of Coulson's friends and he turned out to be Hydra. If he can be, even one of Coulson's team could potentially be as well.

How do we know that one of Coulson's team isn't anyway? It would actually be pretty cool if one of them did turn out to be a villain. It might even be someone we least suspect like Jemma or Fitz.

Imagine Jemma or Fitz going from a nerdy bumbling personality to a complete 180 and suddenly becoming this cold and confident agent with fighting skills.

Although I wouldn't have minded if May did turn out to be a villain. This would've been the perfect opportunity. Why was she even coming after Fitz and shooting at him anyway?

May shooting at Fitz makes zero sense to me. "It's not what it looks like". Pretty sure it is, you tried to freeze Fitz, what other explanation is there?

If Fitz is a villain, then May could be trying to stop him. That would be the only other decent explanation really. Or maybe she just wants to stop him from telling Coulson even if neither of them are dirty.

If Ward had been a villain, that would also have been cool. It would've made him more interesting. Maybe he was even trying to recruit Skye for his superiors and was training her up for that. Having one of the team turn traitor would certainly shake up the show.

But in any event, the show is going to be shaken up anyway after TWS. It just seems a little too tidy that none of Coulson's team are traitors given what is going on.

With how "The Clairvoyant" was going on... I figured someone was going to shoot Nash... at first I thought it was Garrett that did it, so a little surprised it was Ward, but then I thought about it and yeah this gifset is kind of what I figured. he's still dealing with lingering beserker effects from the staff, add that to the aftermath of what Lorelei did to him/made him do and the fact that (like Skye was telling Coulson at the end) "The Clairvoyant" knew how to 'push their buttons' thanks to the psych evals...him snapping like that kind of makes sense.

This is what I'm sticking with. I don't think Hand is crooked, she just thinks someone on Coulson's team is compromised. Maybe the entire team.

This is also what I'm thinking. It's too obvious if she's behind all the crazy things.

I feel like May shot Fitz to stop him talking to anyone in the team, perhaps to talk to him first.

Even though there might only be 2 crossover episodes with TWS, really the rest of the whole series of AoS will be affected by that movie. So there are bound to be references to that from now on. AoS can't possibly operate in its own tiny pocket universe isolated from everything else.

I don't think May or Hand is Hydra, just made to look that way. I do have my doubts about Ward. But it would be really cool if it's someone you'd least expect. It would be awesome that in the end it would be Skye , now that would be a big blow for Coulson.

It can't help but reference TWS from now on, the very essence of the show has changed

Something tells me those don't align :funny:

she could have been trying to knock him out so he wouldn't tell Coulson . Plus it would have given her enough time to come up with an excuse or maybe make it easy for her to just toss him out the plane :funny:

Did Coulson face off against May with Ward in the background up there where he was? I don't remember now. Or was he only backed up by Skye?

Just because May looks to be a traitor doesn't mean that all is forgiven with Ward. He could still be a traitor himself.

They left Ward in the brig with the door open - I thought he hijacked the bus to start with
