I really hope that all future DC films kinda follow the tone set by The Dark Knight Saga and the MoS trailer.

Like imagine if instead of Superman this was a Wonder WOman with Hippolyta or Zeus speaking and there were shots of Themyscira.

I hope DC moves to their other properties soon

Eh. I'm speaking more in terms of his reviewing existing scripts and improving on them. SUCKER PUNCH doesn't have a whole lot wrong with it structurally. It's not nearly as straightforward a story as it appears. The main issue in SUCKER PUNCH was editing.

Also the musical bit at the end.

What I find interesting is that Emily Blunt can quite literally play any dc female and play them well.

The music for the teaser is inspiring and the shot of Supes flying is breathtaking. Pity they couldn't find more interesting images of pre-Superman Clark than him pulling in fishing lines, though.

Yep, it does work after all. It IS quite good. And at least, the closing shot is a LOT better than the Batman-flash from the BB-teaser.

Too bad the teaser itself is nearly a carbon copy of the Batman Begins teaser, albeit slightly more uplifting. Bearded guy walking around, location shots, voiceover, a lame "money shot" at the end, and a newly-designed symbol.

I know this film will be great, but I wish they'd have crafted a teaser that was more unique and would stand on its own instead of completely following the blueprints laid by BB. The music was from Lord of the Rings.

I'm just hoping that Russell Crowe'a Jor-El is different from Marlon Brando's. It seems in his voice-over that he's aware of the effects Earth will have on his son, but I hope they don't go the "Jor-El as God" route that Donner went. I almost hope this is his "goodbye monologue" to Kal-El right before the rocket takes off. It seems that way, since Clark sort of exiles himself to Alaska.

Superman's journey to Superman needs to be Clark's, not Jor-El's.

I'm hoping one of the central themes of this film is power. The power to "accomplish wonders" or the power to "wreak horrors". It'd be a very interesting theme to explore for an origin story. I wish they'd've had Lana Lang in this and have her be the "vain girl" who breaks Clark's faith in humanity which would give him the impetus to exile himself. There's a bunch of routes they can go.

Really? I think it was smart. It's not coming across as a typical superman film, but something different. It's really showing us the tone of the film.

IMO, teasers like this are great to get the us all talking. I loved it (not saying you didn't btw, as you said you did lol)

Has it been determined if the set photos with the stuntman in mocap suit with two foot pole attached to head is going to be Non? I could only imagine the reason for it was to give Cavill an 8' target for him to looking at for a very large character, most likely CGI.
