David Goyer has written one really good script. That's Batman Begins. His other scripts have been poor. But if you look at his first draft script for Batman Begins then you see most of the script was his. Chris Nolan changed some things. But almost all of the key scenes and dialogue is his.

I'm glad we don't know all that much. I want to be blown away by the experience at the cinema.

I agree, but to be honest I just think we don't know all that much because the movie's not out until next year. Nolan's involved though, so I could be wrong... The man knows how to keep secrets.

The only comforting thought about Goyer writing the script is that The Nolans, at least, looked over it and made a few alterations. Had it been Goyer flying completely solo, I'd be worried about the story and characters.

Goyer deserves credit if his script is good, I think Goyers an example of someone who makes something thats pretty good but he needs someone to polish it, kind of like a rough diamond.

Late november early december is probably the best time being that the film comes out in june. The dark knight rises trailer came out in december and warner brothers may copy that routine.

:nono:

Nolan deserves credit if the script is good, Goyer will get nothing but the whole 'he's an idea man, who needs others to polish his turds' speech. :o

And the sad thing is that there will be several Bootleg versions online for people to see before it officially debuts online, thus potentially minimizing the amount of views it would have gotten the first go around.

Speaking of the trailer, I am very curious if the full trailer will be as somber as the teaser? Or will they try to make it action pack. Unfortunately, I'm not a movie going person anymore, so I'll have to wait until it comes up on Vudu.

I would think that people who are seeking out a bootleg are the type that would want to see it again in better quality.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's something very similar to the one shown at Comic con, but with more action footage with better generate effects. By all accounts, the film will most likely be done by December, or at least close to being completely done.

Any other news about the trailer, other than the placement and release date? I really hope WB goes with the tone of the Comic-Con teaser... that crap teaser they put on TDKR was really underwhelming.

Yeah I can't imagine going to the effort of finding a blurry bootleg and then when the clear version comes out, saying 'meh, i've already seen that, I don't need to watch it'.

I'm expecting this film to be the most polished out of the cbms due out next year.

This movie better be the best looking film next year period. It better be perfect. They been in post production about 8 months now.The film come out june 14.They have another 8 months.

That's going to be a challenge with films like Elysium, Pacific Rim, Star Trek 2, Hobbit DoS, etc. I'm genuinely excited to see how all of them turn out visually.

lol...I have high hopes for the film. After watching The Avengers, I'm hoping to see some real butt kicking.

Well I wouldn't be shocked if it's the best looking film visually next year since it have a big advantage in post production time.Weta better do their thing.

I am praying that it's more like the Comic Con footage. Everyone keeps saying that Snyder knows how to make a trailer and I'm hoping they're right. The teaser underwhelmed me with its preachiness.

Definitely. If any movie has butt kicking potential next year, it's MoS.

I wouldn't be shocked either, just saying there's a lot of competition. :cwink:

Preachy? In what sense?

Well... it was a teaser. I don't remember Inception's or The Dark Knight's teaser causing an uproar of excitement either.

...Because they were teasers.
