I'm sure Shannon mentioned in an interview that he was disappointed because he didn't have an actual suit to wear and rather had to wear a mocap suit the whole time

Maybe, but I also seem to remember of hearing about two different suits. So maybe, a practical one and a CGI one. We'll see.

“t’s funny because when I met with Zack we were talking about it before it started and he mentioned that there was going to be a lot of CGI… I said, ‘Just don’t make me wear one of those silly suits.’ He said, ‘Oh, yeah, don’t worry, I know exactly what you’re talking about.’ I was like, ‘It’s going to be really hard for me to be intimidating if I have to wear one of those silly suits.’ He said, ‘I totally understand.’ Then I showed up and he’s like, ‘Dude, I swear to God, it’s going to be so badass when we’re done. Nah. The second suit everyone mentions is Zod's all black version of Superman's suit, complete with Zod's shield.

I really like the new Jor el image, gives us our first real look at the kryptonians architecture which I'm digging. And who is that girl in the chair in the background? Is this the scene with Jor el trying to convince the council of kryptons impending distraction perhaps?

I think we are pretty certain at this point.

We haven't heard anything saying that WB will have any ads during the Big Game.

I hate when people moan, we used to get nothing years ago before the internet exploded. We all want new stuff but some of us are very happy when we get anything. Be greatful for what you do get.

A Star Trek trailer appears to be 100% certain. And two others (possibly IM3) are likely. So there’d be strong competition for MOS during the Super Bowl. Moreover, the competitors are being released before MOS - so they can take greater advantage of the marketing momentum. WB may be calculating that ads closer to June are a better allocation of $4 million.

Snyder has shot a lot of the movie on hand held and pretty much ALL of the Superman in action stuff is CGI. Little to no wire work.

$4 million or $4 million+. My roommate works in ad space purchasing and gave me a few numbers she'd encountered, ranging from $3 million to $8 million or more. And that's just the ad space purchase for the air time, that doesn't necessarily always include the cost for the creative work of actually making the spot. So, yeah, maybe WB is thinking that blowing several million dollars on February 3 for a movie that's still 4 months out isn't the best use of money. I'm not saying I totally agree, just saying that might be where they stand.

This. I think they are missing a huge opportunity in marketing this film by not having a SB spot.
