one thing Ive been woriied about in this movie is how Supermans defeat will be handled. There are reports of him being utterly humiliated in battle by faora. That doesnt sit well with me.I have no problem with Superman loosing I cant stand himbeing humiliated in battle.Ihope Goyer struvjkthe write balance

It makes sense. He's probably never been in a fight before and Faora is a trained soldier.

what are you all gonna do when superman takes off his S and throws it at zod

Plus, what better way to build tension for a final battle? If Faora defeats him pretty easily and Zod doesn't even have to dirty his hands that time, it could definitely raise the stakes quite a bit.

Not only will he have to come back and somehow win against an opponent that "utterly humiliated" him the first time, but he has to take down her presumably much more powerful leader as well? Along with his army? Oh yeah! :D

Zod will just dodge it and say "theatricality and deception. Powerful agents to the Earthling. But we are Kryptonian, aren't we Kal El?"

:argh: These pretzels are making me thirsty... for some MOS goodness. :awesome:

Can't wait to see Faora. At the moment, she's one of the aspects I'm most interested to see considering how little of her has been shown.

Umm.. Where's this from?? Is that from MOS?

I found a video that shows a few Man of Steel Lego sets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5910O43y3E4

At 0:15, we see set #76002, i.e. "Metropolis Showdown," which includes Supes and Zod. Also included is a car, which I assume is used as a projectile weapon.

At 0:20, we see set #76003, i.e. "Battle of Smallville," which includes Supes, Faora, Zod, Tor-An, and Colonel Hardy. The vehicles include a jeep (equiped with a weapon, I think) and what appears to be either a jet or a spaceship.

At 0:30, we see set #76009, i.e. "Black Zero Escape," which includes Supes, Lois, and Zod. There's also something that looks like a space-pod of some sort, which has Zod inside. There is also another set piece, which I can't identify -- perhaps it's the holding-cell that the army puts Superman in when he surrenders himself, or perhaps it's 'Black Zero,' whatever that is. If Black Zero is like the Phantom-Zone, then maybe it's the portal into Black Zero.

At 0:35, we get a closer look at Zod (I assume. Although, the hair doesn't look like Shannon's) and Colonel Hardy.

At 0:43, we see Faora.

At 0:48, we see two Kryptonians from set #76003. They're both wearing capes, armor, and what appear to be space-helmets. The Kryptonian on the left has the same type of shoulder-piece that Faora was wearing in some of the leaked set images. Although, we can see from the Abdominal-muscles that it's not Faora.

At 0:54, we get a closer look at Superman.

Here is where I found some extra information about the sets: http://www.brickheroes.com/2013/01/london-toy-fair-2013/

wow, talk about having a screen presence, Amy Adams can grab your attention even if she is onscreen for sceonds.

To be fair though...she's the only thing on the screen, with her head taking up a third of the frame.

Great find. The best part is we get some kind of feel for what Zod's helmet will look like.

It's the space jockey helmet from Prometheus!!!! Ok, not quite.

I've been wondering, if this chick playing Carrie Farris is a version of Carol Farris....any thoughts?
