It seems like you're attempting to understand what he's saying just like the rest of us. How do we know for sure what he meant?

I understand the cheekiness in his "or should I say" part, but he wouldn't have mentioned the JL before WF if JL wasn't relevant to his tweet. I honestly think he means that Superman and Batman have a chance of presenting an award together, however, that doesn't mean they are making a WF movie before JL.

I found an article talking about it on screenrant. It mentions that a possible Batman reboot and the Superman trilogy could postpone JL. Neither of those are WF.

Also check out the original source on batman-on-film. It's now updated, saying that JL is still on track. However, that doesn't change the fact that these are all rumors.

Per others "in the know," Warner Bros. is still planning on releasing a Justice League film AND the rebooted Batman will, as previously reported, be introduced in this movie. So when will JUSTICE LEAGUE hit theaters? Probably not in 2015 as planned -- though there still isn't any official information from Warner Bros. one way or the other. I don’t know where this Justice League movie in 2021” thing comes from. Well, I actually do. If the first solo Batman film doesn’t hit theaters ‘til 2019 -- for whatever reason -- people are simply assuming “JL in 2021.”

I haven't seen Mayimbe tweet anything to hint at JL being postponed. Are you talking about the JL/WF tweet?

I'm sure they got a new writer, yeah, but it'll also need to be postponed somewhat. That 2015 release is not looking like a lock imo, which is only a benefit.

I don't think it will have to be postponed. I recently said my reasoning in the JL thread. Even if the script isn't complete by then, they can work on it as they go along like other movies have done.

I think they've already settled on a director(Snyder), are getting the script done(Goyer) and will be done with casting members of the League before the year is up or early next year. Filming can then start next year and go on for about 6 months(Snyder likes to work on the effects for his movies as he goes along, so post-prod. shouldn't take as long as it typically would for most movies), making it for that 2015 date.

They've already got so much concept art to build from, after previous attempts at JL movies. It's a head start in a way. Take this Themyscira concept art, for example.

That is of course unless Bale or JGL sign on to Justice League, In which case the audience would already be familiar with them. I'm kinda split here. I'd like a JL-feature down the line and I dont mind the reverse-recipe to Marvel's, that is an assembly-movie spawning solos afterwards, because that can work as well.
I just dont want a DC-copying-Marvel scenario here.

So yeah, they should definitely set up a JL-movie through a WF-movie first and foremost, and that would also serve as a perfect reboot of Batman. Seeing DC's biggest flagships (and probably the biggest CB-characters in the world) in the same movie is all sorts of win and would easily rival Avengers alone, where you kinda dont need a JL-movie to do that.

In an ideal world Wonder Woman, Flash, and another Green Lantern film should be made before Justice League but that isn't happening. So yeah this the we can hope for.

Right now, I couldn't care less about a JL movie. I mean that. I much more wanna see MOS make its own incredible movie, with it's own strong spirit - Just like Batman Begins did. And if they're making it so grounded within some sort of "reality", much like Nolans Batman franchise, could this very superman even work in a JL film? We all know that Bale's Batman will not be seen in an upcoming JL film. Why? Because he just doesn't fit in. I kinda hope that Henry's superman won't fit in to the JL movie either. I want this one to stay in its own universe as well. I think it makes it much more special and unique that way. But that's just me.
