Yes, of course. And?

Look, there's an easy way to clear up this confusion; someone could ask the gamefaqs poster to clarify his post by asking "When you say Clark meets with Jor-El, do you mean a hologram of Jor-El?"

I'm about 99.9999% certain he means a HOLOGRAM...not his actual father because the guy did say that Jor-el did tell Clark that he wished he could have been the father that Clark deserved....so I'm pretty sure that answers that. If it were ACTUALLY Jor-el, he would have just kept Kal-el with him instead of sending him off to be raised by humans. Come on folks...lets use a LITTLE common sense here

Is the beard really that big a deal?:huh::huh:

I'm a detailed-oriented guy but I just find that to be nitpicking. If Nolan's TDK trilogy is any indication, fans will pick apart every scene too seek for a flaw.

I agree. It makes so much more sense if it were a hologram. But it confuses me that the gamefaqs poster says that Jor-El sends Clark to the Kents to "give him a strong moral compass," as if he had a choice. Didn't Jor-El send Clark to the Kents because, otherwise, Clark would have died?

Common sense is not allowed apparently.

I honestly don't believe anything this guy is saying.

well....he could have done it for BOTH reasons? So Clark would live and be raised by good people. Which leads me back to the scout ship...the way I read it was that Jor-el sent Clark SPECIFICALLY to be raised by the Kents and that it wasn't a chance finding. So did the scout ship search out the Kents or was there someone on the scout ship that searched out the Kents? Maybe he went to work for Zod afterwards....maybe Zod got in his head and changed his views on things??? I don't know...I'm pull stuff out of thin air here

Never mind

Hmmm. That would be very interesting if Jor-El somehow knew that the Kents would be good parents and he specifically sent Clark to them. Although, I would personally prefer it if it were a chance encounter; I've always liked the fact that Clark was lucky to be found by the Kents.

yeah same here....but as long as it's done well I don't think it'll bother me any. I have always loved the chance finding storyline...never really bought into the whole, "I sent you to them because they are good people and will raise you with good morals and blah, blah, blah...."

Who is he? What was did the buzz say?

President of Slugworth Chocolates Incorporated. Said the film was really good. But then he got off topic talking about how awful Willy Wonka was and how he'd give me "10,000 of these" to bad mouth em and think it over. *Shrugs*
