Again why are we taking this guy at his word? Honestly the fact that he's tweeting at crowe makes me think he's just some guy trying to get attention.

The fact he attaches his imdb "actor" profile link to his bio page is suspect too.

I don't think anyone really is. Just tracking it.

FWIW, the guy tweeting was a stunt performer on TDK and other prominent films, so it seems like there's a pretty good chance he's telling the truth about the screening (and is also very biased).

Wait, there's a pic of the finished suit? Not the prototype pic with the stringy wig?

Yeah. Pretty much looks like the traditional suit except with a molded muscle body suit ala the Burton/Schumacher Batman movies. The pictures are in black and white though it most likely would have been red, blue, and yellow like usual.

Stunt performers would not be invited to industry only secretive screenings at this point.

He's "barely" in the industry as a stunt performer as is. Especially with relation to studio people, directors, writers others you'd expect to be at these private screenings. Which i doubt they'd want them tweeting about especially to the films actors.

Screenings ARE happening. That's a fact. Even that Elmayimbe dude was on some podcast two days ago and said that there was another screening a day before. So not everyone who posts about it on Twitter is BS'ing. So yeah, seems legit. More legit than some other things people believe more quickly...but that's just me.

They'd be very protective at this point. Journalists are obviously not being invited yet and i'd assume it was only studio insiders seeing and giving impressions. When you hear "private screenings" i think of Nolan showing TDKR to his closest industry friends.

Not a stunt actor trying to promote himself on twitter.

In that case, everything else we've heard about these screenings is false. And I think I'll side with quite a few webmasters who all seem to know someone who was at one screening or another (meaning, not so secretive) than with someone who isn't ´´in the game``.

Hey All - I've been a pretty obsessive follower of this site for years now (right around the time Superman Returns was announced) and I just had to start posting from sheer enthusiasm! The pics today look awesome - as to all the hype coming from these screenings, well, I'd love to buy into it but similar hype for Green Lantern is still fresh in my mind.

Either way though, I'm thrilled with everything I've seen so far (and I was not at all happy when both Goyer and Syder were announced). But it looks like they're going to prove me wrong, and I'm stoked for it.

Looking forward to finishing out these last 3 months with you guys.

The screenings are definitely just press/industry screenings.

Most reactions I've seen have come from industry people (actors, critics, etc)

Nobody is mentioning the soundtrack. What does that mean? If the soundtrack isnt mentionable, its a huge dissapointment for me. Also, to much talk about how great the action scenes are. Have anyone said anything about the epicness of the movie?

I saw one reaction where someone did mention the soundtrack. They said it was good and that the new theme was great and that it fit. But thats all they really said about it.
