Welcome my friend!

Thanks! And a preemptive thanks to everyone! Don't want to clog valuable forum space with "thank yous" but I'm really excited to be a part of this community! Superman is by far one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, and I'm ecstatic at the idea that this film might do him justice on the big screen.

I don't care if all of the reviews are real to be honest.

Also welcome. It's always nice to have new members.

Bob Chipman (@the_moviebob):

Apparently "secret" screenings of IronMan, Trek and Superman happening tonight - nowhere near me, I'm assuming SXSW-adjacent.

Nobody is mentioning the soundtrack. What does that mean? If the soundtrack isnt mentionable, its a huge dissapointment for me. Also, to much talk about how great the action scenes are. Have anyone said anything about the epicness of the movie?

Maybe i am a bit grumpy....

I saw one reaction where someone did mention the soundtrack. They said it was good and that the new theme was great and that it fit. But thats all they really said about it.

I'll see if i can find it.

Found it

take it with a grain of salt. They claim they saw a test screening, but we know there have been some and what he says matches up with some of the other reactions

Here's what he says about the score:

The music is very nice. At times slow and emotional, and at others sweeping and epic. The new theme is good. Different, but good. It fits the Man of Steel.

Not much, but its something.

They'd be very protective at this point. Journalists are obviously not being invited yet and i'd assume it was only studio insiders seeing and giving impressions. When you hear "private screenings" i think of Nolan showing TDKR to his closest industry friends.
They already did that "friends and family" screening for MoS a while back, didn't they? I thought we heard about that a couple months ago? I figured these other screenings we were hearing about (where all the main movie sites were getting their "word" that MoS was great) were just regular ol' industry screenings for all kinds of various members of the industry.

And welcome, JDklip!

Why do some find it so hard to believe that the film is being screened?

It's not a golden treasure it's the sixth Superman movie.

Thank YOU SIR! I started to think that this movie wouldn't hold up my expectations for a second. Almost rage-quited. Now i can go to sleep. I hope to wake up with some more goodies in the morning!

:) all the rumors, the new photos, can everyday be like this ? Lol

I don't think they do. I think they find it hard to believe that the people who say they were at the screenings were at the screenings.

Considering the age we live in, what with the social networking and all, It would be hard to believe if there were no people saying that they were at a screening or that none of who actually were would say anything about it.

Your very welcome.

It's not that i don't believe the film is being screened just, whether or not a stunt actor with his imdb profile attached to his twitter handler tweeting to russell crowe about how he was crying is actually the most credible of sources?

Personally, I don't necessarily disbelieve (or believe) anyone who says they were at a screening. I take everything with a grain of salt, unless it's proven that they were lying.

Jake WJ Lester ‏@Jake_Lester Okay, working on the #ManOfSteel info. Hold tight!

Please hurry... I need to go to bed soon!

A sensible attitude.

How is his tweet to Crowe in any way suspicious? Seems to me that he's just trying to be flattering/funny.

Wouldn't it be anticlimactic if the info provided was something we already knew or was even false?lol

Yes, very... still doesn't help me sleep until i've read it :p

I'm sure that more than a few people are lying but I don't think that everybody is.

That stunt dude is a non factor to me because I don't like hyperbolic reviews when I'm reading about Superhero films. The "I wept" comment was just a major turn off.

Fair enough. But with so many coming out of the woodwork and essentially saying the same thing, as well as many being as such where they have no reason to lie considering their relative position in the industry, I give people the benefit of the doubt.

I do too but not usually to those on twitter.

I'm sure the film will be great but there are so many people out there just saying anything to get noticed or feel important.

Understandable. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt as well. But still, it always helps to be a little skeptical, and to not get emotionally invested in what you hear until or unless it's officially confirmed.

If there was a screening today, I believe at least two people are going to leak some info about MOS this week.
