This guy posted a photo from MOS industry screening. A whole bunch of people. He also said he almost wept at how good it is.
I asked him for a comparison between MoS and Nolan's Batman trilogy, and this is his reply:
can't really compare it, but it's a great film. Gritty but full of whimsy and the action is incredible.

Today has been better to us than anything in the last month.

I asked him for a comparison between MoS and Nolan's Batman trilogy, and this is his reply:

The action for this film is going to be amazing. I seriously can't wait to be blown away. We get to see Sup kick some ass ! FINALLY !

Full of whimsy? What does that mean?

whimsy |ˈ(h)wimzē| (also whimsey)
noun ( pl. -sies or -seys)
playfully quaint or fanciful behavior or humor : the film is an awkward blend of whimsy and moralizing.

:)

Nice but "I almost wept" annoys me. It screams fanboy hyperbole.

It's only hyperbole if he's exaggerating and being disingenuous. If he really almost cried (and I have no reason to believe he'd lie about that) then there's no reason why he shouldn't proclaim it loudly and proudly. Sure, he's a fanboy, but he's not being hyperbolic if he's telling the truth.

Wait, there's a pic of the finished suit? Not the prototype pic with the stringy wig?

Yeah

Asim Ahmad ‏@asimaahmadit will be a hit, some may be put off on some of the darker elements. Henry did a great job, special mention to Fishburne.

Im more interested at who all those people are and if we'll get any non spoiler-ish non-fanboyish reactions soon...
That's what interests me, too. I always imagined these "industry screenings" to be very small, intimate affairs, but that's quite a crowd. Lots of potential NDA violators. :cwink:

I love Supes but It would be damn hard for me to cry for a movie about that. It would have to really get me emotionally interested and probably end up killing someone off.

I take all these "twitter insider" reviews with a grain of salt. I've heard of so many of these "amazing reviews" from "insiders" for past film's that turned out to be crap.

A lot of these guys are just super-fan boys, people talking out their ass about actually having seen the film or studio plants imo.

Wait, is there a screening happening?

Asim Ahmad ‏@asimaahmad @russellcrowe just saw Man of Steel. You made me cry. Loved your performance.

Wait, is there a screening happening?
A guy tweeted a picture that was supposedly from a MoS "industry screening" today. Said the movie was great. I think that's all we have at the moment.

Again why are we taking this guy at his word? Honestly the fact that he's tweeting at crowe makes me think he's just some guy trying to get attention.

The fact he attaches his imdb "actor" profile link to his bio page is suspect too.
