What about it sounds real Kevin? Honestly, I could write a more convincing "review" in about 10 mins.

Lol just for fun and because of the lack of news, could you do that?

And it is consistent with some of the other things we have heard, the "love" story is the weak part, the daily planet has a smaller part....just those things. The runtime is similar to the runtime we have heard but not exactly what IMDB has posted. Although this would be the first I have heard of Lana Lang being in the movie.

Does anyone believe ANYTHING is real with these "reviews" though?

It's the similarities with other reviews which tells me its fake. And how he points out stuff like the drums in the score, when we know they used a whole bunch of drums. It's like of all the millions of things you could mention about this film after seeing in, you mention the fact that there are drums on a piece of music? Give me a break.
After yet another 'review' this gives me the idea - we need to start our own review thread here. It would be a send up of all these leaked reviews, but it'd also demonstrate how believeable they can be when someone has followed the film as closely as we have.

So because it is consistent with the other fake reviews, that convinces you? The runtime thing is easy money.

I am going to say it right now. If someone has seen this, they aren't going to tip-toe around Zod's plan. They will tell us what the first scene is, and actually spoil something.

Psychology... Sounds reasonable for me

No, and I knew someone was going to say that. I meant it was consistent with the two or so "reviews" I considered to be "real". Do you think any of them are real?

"The real reviews", if there are any, are so vague that they tell you nothing.

The safest thing to do though I think is just to assume they are all fake, even though in the back of my mind with some of the **** we hear I'm like "okay, that sounds like it could be real".

They say the movie is good. I think that is important. If there were a bunch of reviews coming, and they were all vastly different in content but all were consistent in that they said it was bad then I would be worried.

I saw the movie. It was fantastic.

Aaand now the guy is saying that Supes handles Faora easily which is in contrast to us hearing she is a super mega ass kicker (and she was a super mega ass kicker in the comics)...

I saw the movie. It was horrible. Worst Superman movie ever made. We won't be seeing Superman on screen again for at least 15 years if at all.

lmao

Is the ending very Nolanish? Is it Nolanized? IS IT?!?!? How immense is the Nolanity of this movie, Darth?

The ending was probably the least Nolan bit of the film. The rest of the film feels very Nolan. Krypton is a very political, and feels very much like a social commentary. The films starts with the council scene we have seen the pics from. They are discussing the ethics of their latest technological breakthrough known as [BLACKOUT]black zero[/BLACKOUT]. Many of the military sort want to turn it into a weapon, and Jor-El is firmly against this. The scene ends with Zod's entrance and a face off between him and Jor-El. Then the film fades to black and we are Earth with adult Clark hitchhiking.

Idk, turning a technological breakthrough into a weapon sounds pretty Nolan-ish to me. :whatever:

Is Gotham referenced? Does Zod say his "kneel" line from Donner's Superman??

And that ladies and gentlemen is a perfect example on how easy it is to ********. Darth seems quite educated in the art of ******** ;)

I saw Man of Steel this weekend. But it wasn't a Superman film...

I know it does, which is why I said the film, except the ending, feels a lot like Nolan.

No Gotham reference. No "Kneel before Zod", but there is a moment where [BLACKOUT]Superman is forced to his knees in front of Zod by Faora[/BLACKOUT]. It was pretty shocking actually. Lois looks on with terror and a bit of regret. Think Catwoman in TDKR when Bruce is getting broken by Bane.

You don't have to believe me. I'll just wait here for my vindication come June.

I would take a black one with the logo, not the actual shield. That would look nice.

Tell us about the ending?!?!? Did it suck because it didn't get Nolan'd?

No, it was good. A tad cheesy, but I think it worked.

[BLACKOUT]The scene cuts from Lois at her desk writing and Superman flying faster and faster until we can no longer keep up with him. There is a voice over of Clark's question to Lois from earlier in the film. The one we have heard in the trailers about the world possibly rejecting him. AT the end Lois smiles and we cut to black. MAN OF STEEL.[/BLACKOUT]

I know it sounds kind of Nolanly, but it didn't play that way at all.
