As much as I would've liked that. I feel like it wouldnt do great Holiday season.

I think the more time they spend in Post the better. Makes for a better product when nobody has to worry too much about deadlines.

Hope we get to see a lot of scenes of Clark flying without the superman suit. I don't think that's ever been done before in an action sequence.

If there is an action sequence of clark doing superman things as Clark, I will lose my ****.

Here's to hoping you do lose your s**t.

You do realize that they don't just keep working right? This is a situation where once they have "finished" with the budget, they don't just keep going. Especially with the post-conversion 3D.

Yeah the marketing is proabably going to start on June 13 with a pic of Supes in handcuffs but the picture will be grey this time to make it look more " cinematic".

Yea, they are working on post 3D conversion until June most likely. Probably another reason why the trailers are also late. They'll probably need a week or so to do the post conversion for the trailer too. Apparently, they do it frame by frame.

You act like this isn't a real possibility.

Did they release the other trailers in 3D? That might be the worst argument I have heard on the trailer delay.

Strange, every other film with much smaller PP window can manage it on time. Guess MOS is just too epic.

Would be hilarious if they post converted it pixel by pixel.

Snyder: Fanboys are getting too excited. Let's put their hopes down. Post convert it, pixel by pixel, start from the beginning!

Post converter: Sir...I..

Snyder: Keep your mouth shut and do it!

5 months later:

'Director Bryan Singer was arrested last night, suspected of tying director Zack Snyder up, and stealing his identity in order to sabotage the much anticipated Man of Steel'..

When the trailer does come (whenever that may be), will we get a teaser of a teaser of a trailer?

Most likely a teaser for a poster thats a teaser for a teaser for a trailer....teasing the viral to tease and release the trailer.

Seriously screw that crap Wolverine is pulling. Seriously, a teaser for a teaser for a trailer? Maybe they should of directed that much thought and effort into their posters.

There's always little tweaks that can be done, and when the artists have to worry less about a deadline they can spend more time on things.

Check out the Star Wars trilogy on DVD. The company that I worked for got paid just as much for those as certain other movies, but we were given more time to work on them (About two months per movie.)
Other movies had to get done faster because of a tighter release schedule so they didn't look quite as good.

Wait, have we all gone so thirsty for news that we're saying the trailer is being "delayed"? ... Sigh!

Did you just tell someone named DarthSkywalker to check out the SW trilogy on DVD? :woot:

The SW trilogy DVD isn't where I would go for quality and care either. Pink lightsabers. :csad:

Yeah, the color correction wasn't great on it. I worked at Lowry Digital. We just scanned the film, cleaned up all the dirt, and fixed any tears or damage.
