I took me a while to figure out what was happening there, but it is in the trailer. I wonder if there is a screencap of that scene somewhere.

Well, yes. He/she took that brief glimpse and misguidedly extrapolated it to fanboy proportions.

Whatever the reason(again if this is true), that it would definitely justify her presence. Forever I've often wondered why Zod needed this chick and the other guy out side of him being more of a hands behind back, pompous talker type. In STAS, they just made her big and crazy so I got it. But in Superman 2, it's mad pointless imo.

If she's supposed to be his heavy but in a "panther" body, I could definitely get behind that direction. As for how she's powered up, well, goyer is good at that sort of thing, I'll wait and see.

Other then Thor, all the Marvel films have ended out of costume I think. Same for the X-Men films.

Most of the marvel films are so forgettable for me, I suppose you're right.
I guess, if you want that comic booky ending, as seen in the spidey and those bat films you go for this sort of thing.

I tend to believe the info on Caped Wonders Facebook page .
Its not really a description , it just says the trailer has more stuff from Clarks Childhood and more Zod.
That's it .

well, we all thought the leaked description for the last trailer was fake........until we all watched the trailer unfold before our very eyes........lol

if the description for the new trailer IS real............then this place will go NUTS when it hits!!

Many people are going around boards across the interweb saying this is the actual description of the third trailer.

Remember, this is only rumors and it may not be true. Take a pinch (maybe a handful) of salt when reading this. But, it does get you quite excited for the third trailer, right?


In a few days you will see if this is real or not.

While the logo stuff is coming up we here Clark’s voice saying stuff from the second trailer

Voiceovers:
Beared Clark: I have so many questions, where do I come from?

Music kicks in, sounds like the start of Inception trailer music but more epic and less industrial. It keeps building as we start with a huge shot of Krypton. It looks very futuristic but also medievalish. A lot of the buildings look like the Washington monument, if it had been built during the renascence.

No dialogue with any of the Krypton shots. They quickly cut from on to another with the music building with each shot.

See a shot of people just walking around, very weird fashion on Krypton. Some people look like royalty, some look like geishas and some look like futuristic soldiers.

Jor-El turning around.

Zod turning around (in a different location, looked very icy)

Battle shot with lots of people fighting.

Shot of Jor-El fighting Zod. Quick of shots of Zod beating up Jor-El.

Shot of a bloody Jor-El holding a gun (?) to the back of Zod’s head.

Zod and Faora in a darkened room with some circle things spinning around them. Zod’s face is blacked out and he looking down but Faora is just looking straight with dead eyes. Shot zooms out to show a room with hundreds of people watching them.

Music suddenly stops and then changes to something similar to the Gladiator like music from the1 second trailer.

We see a shot from the second trailer again of Jor-El and Superman’s mother kissing him and a new shot of her putting him in his spaceship (looks like a mutant turtle shell, not complaining it looked cool).

Shot of Krypton exploding.

Music cuts off.

Shot of bearded Clark looking sad in the fortress and then a shot of Jor-El looking at him, showing him the S symbol (from the comic-con trailer).

Cut to black.

Shot of man with glasses in a room full of computers and tech stuff. He sees something on one of the screens and looks scared.

Epic action music kicks in.

Close shots of:

*Military getting destroyed
*Buildings getting destroyed
*Soldiers running away

Lots of news voiceovers coming in very fast, some in other languages.

Shot of Superman zooming past clouds (CC).

Music swells up and becomes even more epic.

He lands in front of Zod and the two other guys. They just look at each other.

One of the guys tries to punch Superman and he just disappears then suddenly appears and punches him far away.

The other guy also tries to attack Superman and same thing happens to him.

That bit reminded me of how Wesker moved in RE5.

*Clark (adult) standing in front of a grave (can’t see the name)

*Superman and Zod crashing into buildings (CC)
*People on Krypton dying
*Zod putting on a mask (looked like something out of Fallout 3) with his back to the camera

Through all of this we have some voiceovers.

Jonathan Kent: People are afraid of what they don’t understand.
Lois Lane: Who is Clark Kent?
Ma Kent: Be a Super Man.
Zod: Do you understand, Superman? That the Universe is committing genocide?

Shot of Superman getting flung into the bank vault, and then falling to one knee (Same from CC).

I think you're getting the saying, " a grain/pinch of salt" completely wrong...a grain, or pinch of salt is very little, as in very little faith. So why would you say a handful of salt? That's a hell of a lot of salt and a good bit of faith.

The audience need to see Superman kick some ass. I think its very important that the next trailer shows that.

I believed the description of the first trailer, and I tend to believe this one.

On a side note, the other day I came across an old set photo of the Kent's car parked in front of Smallville Pediatrics. It was accompanied with that old rumor that the Kents take baby Clark for a check-up and he lets out a supercry that shatters all the windows.

If that and the trailer description are true, the windows breaking when Superman screams would be a nice call back.

It's interesting that Supes sounds like he handles Zod fairly well, but Faora kicks the crap out of him. I wonder if Faora is actually the stronger of the two villains, while Zod is more of the brains behind everything. That would be an interesting route to take and not one I expected.

I'm thinking it's more along the lines of Zod testing him to see what he's capable of. Or even toying with him a bit.

Also, it sounds sort of lame out of context to me, but I think with the whole angle they're taking with the story, Martha's "Be a super man" line could work quite well. If a big part of it is Clark dealing with finding out he's technically not human, he could come home and have a conversation with Ma about it. He might say something about people seeing him as an alien with incredible powers, and not knowing how to deal with that. Ma might say something like, "Be who you are, Clark. Be my son. Be sweet, be handsome, be smart, be stubborn, be strong, be good. Don't be some powerful alien. Be a super man." I never liked the idea of Clark coming up with the name. I always thought it would be in character for Martha to do it, but it still seemed kind of silly. This, on the other hand, would work great.

If, of course, the description's legit. If not, I've just got my brain spinning for no reason, and I may not like what they actually do as much as this. Oh well.

Just for fun, I'm gonna be on the "It's fake" side this time. It's a little too detailed, and unless the guy got to rewatch and pause the thing however he wanted, it's hard to believe he got to remember so much stuff just from one viewing, or even two. The real description from last time was a little more vague.

It does sound awesome, though. So if it is true, I wouldn't complain.
