this is zack snyder i am sure we wont have to worry about him going too light hearted lol
Thats what I'm worried about. I mean, I'm fine with it not being as lighthearted as Donner's films but I also don't want it to be a wet blanket of a film. I think it should be pretty fun.

Nothing like the Batman movies in tone.

man its hard to believe like a year ago everyone was wishing we would be at this point...:yay:....and now look, im so happy for all superman fans out here, no matter what preferences we have, you just have to be happy that were getting another crack at the superhero we all love.....nothing can tear me down at this point....:woot:

U sure about that?

i thought vancouver was perfect.

They're shooting in both Chicago and Vancouver. They'll shoot mostly outdoor/Smallville scenes in Chicago, and shoot interiors at Vancouver.

We were there to keep boaters and any other people off the water and away from the bridge," said Sibert. "We had three of our squad's boats up there with 10 volunteers on Wednesday and 11 of us on Thursday."

Sibert said his members also were on hand in case any water emergency situation arose with the movie's cast or crew.

He admitted it was hot work for them during the shooting, but the locals got to see a school bus go over the side of the bridge.

Superman: Hi officer, what can I do to help?

Officer: Can't do much of anything now. If only you'd been here a minute sooner...

I guess people have seen those set-videos from TDKR with Bats and Bane duking it out?
Kinda weird they havent released any official pics of either in full outfits prior to shooting. One would think WB would demand that marketing-wise, especially since they're doing that with MOS.
Seing Bane like that is really underwhelming instead of a really amped studio-shot. I guess he'll be wearing something different later on then. The outfit in the video looks kinda "improvised".

Bane was already released in a promotional photo and in the trailer. Plus TDKR suit is the same suit as in the TDK. No real need to release anything. They knew they were shooting scenes in the daytime, on a weekend, in a busy city and knew photos would get released. Free marketing. Now for Superman on the other hand, we have no idea what the costume looks like and I guarantee you WB releases a promo video before some crappy shot gets released.

The Bane-shot was pretty un-revealing aside from the mask. I meant a full good look at the character.

But yeah, Superman is different with the reboot-situation and being the main-character.

Man of steel needs emily Browning. Well not really I just think she is hot. Surprised snyder never seems to rehire actors from one film to the next. Found it interesting he had jon hamm in sucker punch though.

Sometimes he does...I'm still expecting to see Carla Gugino show up in this pic.

Wait, if they're having someone rewrite the script...why are they filming before the rewrite is finished?

So they're filming without a script, of locations that may not even be in the new script.

The script is finished. A few sentences may be changed, and is probably already done.

The only rewriting they'll be doing after filming is changing some lines and whatnot on location. This happens in most movies.

It's actually very rare that a script remains the same during filming, and I'm not just talking about deleted scenes.

The Coen Brothers are known for their films being almost exactly the same as their scripts. This is considered strange in Hollywood.

I guess for movies like this it's more or less only the dialogue and the charcter-driven parts that get rewritten, and on the spot. Difficult to rewrite big action-scenes or scenes with a lot of sets and props.

I just hope we don't get an ending scene of Supers flying away while Perry White says in voiceover: "We write about him because people need to know. Strength doesn't come from lifting buildings or stopping bullets. Strength comes doing what is right, not what is easy. Where other men might be corrupted or give in, he never will. He is our beacon to guide us. A man of truth. A man of justice. A man of steel."

Well I doubt we will :p They aren't that silly.

And I just heard it Laurence Fishburnes mystic matrix voice and it was even worse lol.

The sentiment behind it is okay tho :)

I was being sarcastic. The Dark Knight's ending is ****ing awesome and spine tingling. Can't do it twice.

While we're hoping things that will never happen don't happen, I hope there isn't a scene where Margot Kidder fist-fights Amy Adams for Henry Cavill's body.
