Damn, this place is flying and I'm missing it!

Well get ready for next week because once the trailer drops it will be impossible to have a conversation for at least a day with all the new posts. Will make me miss the drought period. :p

I hear ya though. Never liked it when forums explode after newly released material. I'm a simple guy. But bring on that damn trailer then! :cwink:

Same.

Oh and new trailer means new poster. Thank Zod! I am SICK of the handcuffs poster/image, SICK OF IT I TELL YOU!!! :argh:

Oh I love it when its crazy, the buzz is fantastic. I really can't wait for the trailer and the fact we could have it Tuesday is Zod-tastic.

Is it confirmed though? Superman Homepage is the only source?

Confirmed what? New trailer or the date? Trailer IS confirmed, the date is NOT. But it is the most likely day and has been thrown around for weeks now.

Right. The date I meant. 3min and 8secs is pretty nifty then.

Me too. I feel like a kid again when this place goes nuts!

I wonder if they'll do some sort of viral like they did for TDKR trailer 3, i hope not because by that time i saw the trailer without sound about a 100 times, by the time it was released by initial excitement was pretty much worn out.

*in case people don't know about it, trailer 3 for tdkr basically unvieled the trailer frame by damn frame, so people just ended up making a gif and we were able to see the trailer as it updated.

If they do a viral I hope it's simple and doesn't reveal anything from the trailer itself, just a countdown. The reason being, it's good to know the exact hour when the trailer drops. That way I can prepare, re-schedule meetings, tell everyone to buzz off and wait for it in peace. I'd hate to wake up one day and see the trailer right before I have to go off to a meeting or something. Ugh, nightmare! :oldrazz:

Yeah I hear you, it's very rare a film comes out where i have to clear the entire room, hook my laptop up to my tv and have the surround sound on...just to watch a damn trailer. :funny:

its not. but i think movies like this(popular the first time) do make more money the faster they come out. if of course the sequel is good.

plus WB has no other DC movies for 2015.

Yeah , I would love for MOS 2 to come out in 2015 but I doubt it. If they can then they should have a July release date or a December release date. If not then have it released Summer 2016.

I want a poster, the poster that will be the Blu Ray cover! I want to see what they have up they're sleeve!

Yeah a viral that ends with a countdown again would be great

If this makes money, you can be sure they want to follow the same conditions for the dark knight trilogy, I'm betting an eventual sequel would come out summer 2016.

WB have not impressed with their posters as of late, did you see the absolute offence to good taste the final TDKR poster was?

Yeah, I agree absolutely..I prefered, and I think those are great, the teasers, the character posters for TDKR..Luckily even in Italy WB released the steelbook Blu ray so I could buy the one with Broken Mask cover :yay: I hope that WB does not put the "handcuffs" poster on anything..No Blu ray, no Dvd's..

Just watch this in the absence of the trailer. It kind of feels like a new Superman movie :)

I loved the first Man of Steel poster and I think that will most likely be the blu ray cover unless they use that badass shot that was on the cover of EW

Now we know that MOS will be taking elements from -

John Bryne's "Man of Steel" - Birthing Matrix concept, Aura explanation.

Mark Waid's "Superman : Birthright" - which shows Young Clark Kent travelling around the world

Geoff Johns' "Superman: Secret Origins" -Young Clark Kent's "I want to be human" line.

James Robinson and Greg Rucka's "World of New Krypton" - different Guilds on Krypton for different tasks.

JMS's "Superman:Earth One" - Kal El becomes Superman to stop Zod's Invasion.

and, JJ Abrams "FlyBy" script (suit designs, scenes)

Yeah, man I have that poster hanging above my TV. It's a full sized 27x40 double sided poster, put it in a frame and it looks spectacular!

Especially if they keep the American flag in the shot. So Superman. :D

The more MoS footage I get, the happier I am, but I do hate the upcoming trend of 3-minute trailers.

I don't mind three minute trailers as long as they are reserved for the final trailer.

If the first, second, and third trailers for a film were 3 minutes long, it would be overkill.
