Yep, that is the theory. She is tracking down Clark, not Superman. Superman doesn't exist at that point.

I suspect that Superman save Earth from similar fate that befallen Krypton when the weapon ship (Black Zero?) shoot beam out to ground. Zod & co could have escaped and they took this weapon platform...or maybe not!

Such a great time to be a Superhero fan. We were spoiled with the great Christopher Nolan Batman films, and it looks like this Man of Steel is going to make the "Dark Knight Trilogy" just look like the tip of the DC iceburg, and with the rumors of the beginning of the DC Filmverse it looks like if WB plays their cards right they could really do something special with the DC universe finally.
