I saw this, and I had to post it.

I love how Grace said she isn't biased towards MARVEL, but in her argument that's what it sounded like a bit. And even if she truly doesn't prefer one brand over the over, she came off a bit bitter to me in the few reviews of hers i watched. *shrugs*
I don't know why it keeps getting brought up, when it's pretty irrelevant. :BA

Yeah considering Marvel ****canned her you'd think she'd have more of a grudge. Anyway sorry for bringing it up again. I was just trying to make Kal-El feel better. It always sucks a little when your posts go ignored.

I hate the Green Lantern. Pic would be better without him.

I don't like the idea of TDKT's Batman existing in the same universe as MOS' Superman but damn, every picture I see of those versions of the characters standing next to each other looks great.

Understandable for sure.
:woot:

Now where is Wonder Woman? :o

I can't remember the last time I had such a good feeling about a movie. Maybe The Departed.

I have visited several forums and sites and MOS is the main topic of discussion in some of them, its so great Superman is definitely in the lime light at current. Henry Cavill is going to be in demand come 2014 and on wards this could do for him what BB did for Bale who was on the verge of bankruptcy before Nolan cast him in BB.

Every time I read this, it feels like pure fanboy talk, overdoing it because it is the movie suit. It is so over the top. I like it, but there are clear things that I would change, and more importantly it is far from the definitive look for Superman. It is no coincidence that the most "Superman" shots in the trailers so far are from angles and distances where the suit isn't fully visible. I am not saying it is going to look terrible on screen, but it is far from definitive.

It's no the "definitive" Superman suit, but then again, NO live action has ever been yet. I never said any of those things because it was the movie suit but because it was a good design; the New 52 suit is a terrible, TERRIBLE design, and kind of what I would have EXPECTED a "movie suit" to have been, what with the bulky looking armor and collar and business of it. The MOS suit is sleak and cool in its design and looks like it could be an alternate suit of Superman's. The New 52 suit, with the collar and armor and that stupid utility belt looks nothing like Superman at all.

The best bits are the cape and the shield. The rest is hit or miss.

Don't forget the awesome "M" boots, and the lack of buckles/laces/busyness, etc, with it - and the cape, and the way the shirt is, like how the cape goes into it, that's classic Superman right there, and looks sooo much more like Superman than the New 52 suit, AND the Returns suit, IMHO.

And the suit is armor by the way. :cwink:

Actually, Superman's suit is what goes UNDER the armor, so it technically isn't. Heck, you could even call the whole thing "underwear" in a way. We may get an "underwear" joke from Zod or someone even though the red leotard is (unfortunately) gone. I'm fine with the kryptonians wearing armor on krypton or even earth somewhat, but Superman shouldn't at all.

Also, props to Zack Snyder for fighting to keep the red leotard at first, I really believe him when he says that, and I am absolutely positive that the only reason that they didn't is because of a WB editorial edict, an executive decision out of Snyder's hands.

Everything we have learned is clearly leading to that imo. She is searching for a Super-being named Clark Kent who looks just like this Superman guy. Not hard to figure out imo.

How does she know the super being she's looking for is Clark Kent though? And how will he fit in at the Daily Planet I wonder....will he work there, but will Lois keep his secret? Will she get knocked on the head if she figures it out? Some say the identity would never work, but that is one of the core staples of Superman so they need to make it work, Superman invented/introduced the secret identity, therefore if any superhero has one, it MUST always be him, the way I see it.

I don't understand the controversy about the new suit from some fanboys. Batman's live action suit is radically different from his comicbook counterpart and I see far less complaining about it.

What's the difference?

You must've avoided the Bat boards when the jigsaw puzzle legs fight was going on.

The MOS costume just looks like a big blue unitard. It needs to be broken up in the middle. The skinny belt thing doesn't give enough of a visual break.

Lots and lots of people complained and whined for a long long time about TDK suit, at this point it's safe to say they finally just accepted it.

I think TDK(R) Suit was an improvement on the Begins suit. The only thing that irked me about TDK(R) suit was how small the symbol on his chest was :csad:
