No offense to anyone who did that manip, or even fans, but good lord I hope hey never make a JL movie. There were times watching Avengers when they were standing together in all those colors and costumes, and it felt borderline silly...and this is even worse. Something about those costumes together in a more 'real' setting just doesn't sit right with me.

Plenty of people do though...so if they do and fans like it, it's not like they're putting out Nazi propaganda or something.

I also feel that superhero movies should take a substantial break soon, for he good of the genre too. But that's something else.

Silly, and glorious. It was a comic book come alive!

Really? I never got that feeling. Even though I'm still quite young The Avengers was the only film so far I've ever seen that made me feel like giddy kid again. When Iron Man helps Captain America and the music kicks in then they simply say "Stark"... "Captain", I couldn't help but think "This is awesome".

I can see why people thought the complete opposite though.

That's the thing...I'm not really a big comic fan or reader, nor do I have a particular fondness for superhero movies over other types even though I like to discuss them. So just the act of putting 'comic characters on the screen' isn't really a dream or desire of mine. I'm not dead inside, but it just doesn't 'tickle' something in me like it would with a lot of fans here...who I completely respect and admire in their devotion, though.

But then, that just probably means that there is point where they're just not for me, and I shouldn't be asking them to change for me if they work for people who want to love them. I do kinda' miss the days when they were more 'rare', and there was perhaps more novelty surrounding just getting one to the big screen. At the same time, this much competition and saturation does push them to be better than they may have gotten away with when they had less inter-genre competition, so there's upsides too.

Man the scene in Avengers where they circle the camera around them all in their costumes gave me CHILLS and got a roaring reaction in every screening I attended. Not silly at all to me. I would love a Justice League movie if it's done right, and I really want some hints in MOS to it. I'm a geek for all that kind of stuff.

We as comic fans have a higher threshold when it comes to stuff like this. We're more willing to accept absurd things than the average person.

Looks at Avengers' mammoth box office.....hmmm, it seems they don't have that much of a problem with it either.

Should have clarified, that I think a Batman/Superman film would be the better route and would be just as big a draw as Avengers. I want both, because I'm greedy. But if I had to choose, a Bats/Supes film would be my first choice.

As long as the movies coming out continue to be generally well received as nearly every Marvel films and Nolan Bat film has....people won't grow tired.

True but I mean in general. I'm mean a lot of times changes are made for the GA.

I completely agree.
