Since Superman and the "armored" Zod & Company apparently have equal powers, then wouldn't Kal-El be better off wearing armor than his Superman outfit? Seems to me he would be better protected.

Well we can assume that since Kal has been exposed to the yellow sun for longer, he contains more power. Zod and co. haven't been on Earth for too long, so they may be a bit more vulnerable than Superman.

until recently I thought Shannon had no interest in these sorts of films. He kinda projects that persona. Who know he "loved the original" as much as any of us here.

I suppose that explains why he took the part.

I like your use of sarcasm, subtle yet effective I realize that's the most obvious answer, I was just wondering if it was possibly Jor El; and i find it interesting that either of them would be fighting with the robot rather than against.

Two movies that are exactly the same in every way except, the second film was half the run time of the first...

The second film is probably going to be more enjoyable to more people. Something my film prof mentioned one day. Makes sense to me.

I hope Zack keeps it tight and clean.
