I, for one, don't want him to say the line. It's outdated and cheesy imho. It was acceptable back then in the context of the movie. Plus, they need to distance themselves from the past to head into the future. I'm going in hoping there is absolutely no link to the past movies.

In case anyone wants to see that NBA promo, they might introduce the second half of this Knicks/Pacers game the same way. That would be in the next 15/20 minutes on ABC. No guarantees though

Saw the new NBA Playoffs Man of Steel spot ... interesting new dialogue from Jor-El. Hopefully we have more of these.

The basic theme of the clip is 'greatness' ... and striving to be better and challenge yourself, in order to mix in with the nba playoffs.
