I wonder why change it to jenny though? Wouldn't there need to be a reason behind it? I wonder what a female version could bring to the table that they wanted. Probably a Chloe type role like mentioned before.

Not sure if you are serious. Especially on that show. She wouldn't have made the top 20 worst on that show.

She was okay, super overrated but okay. Better than Lana Lang.

She was the one thing I truly liked about Smallville. A solid character, and even her crush on Clark was sweet, except when they felt the need to fill out another episode with her pinning for him.

Even that was still a thousand times better than all the episodes of Clark (and everyone else) pining over Lana.

Lol I hated how they handled her Jimmy though. Have him die, then his brother will take over, only to be an exact carbon copy of his brother lol

I don't agree with flame wars between fans of different comic book characters.

But I think you will always need to compare comic book movies. It helps separate great (Nolan Batman trilogy) from good (all the MCU films) and good from bad (Green Lantern, Catwoman etc.)

But not everyone thinks the Nolan movies are great and not everyone thinks the MCU films aren't. That's what starts flame wars where they do not need to be.

Most likely a combo of Chloe and gender exchanging of characters on Battlestar Galactica.

I see Jenny Olsen as more of a wallflower type of girl. Which is cute, but hopefully the rumor of Jimmy being her brother and being on the bench till the sequel is true.

If it's something as simple as "we tried to cast for Jimmy but just couldn't find the right one" then I can live with it. As long as the essence of the character is the same. Plus, it'd be cool to see Lois and Jenny be buds in the movie. Just saying.

Less her personality, more her function. Though I could definitely see her crushing on Clark. It all depends on if they tied her to Clark in the sequels of course. I don't even think she is going to meet Clark this time around.

I'm sorta alright with the Jenny thing. I mean, I hope we get Jimmy eventually. I think Clark is gonna need a friend; not trying to sound sexiest by saying you can't have a female friend.

Just watched that shield promo, I love whedon but looking at the footage really highlights one thing, most of those marvel(phase one and a half movies) are often lit and shot like tv shows.

This is true for the most. The only ones that don't really qualify are IM2 Cap and Thor, though they even have their moments.
