Given how much detail they put into designing Krypton. I pray they give us a new gods appearance in this universe. It will be worth it just to see Orion's helmet, superman catch one of those Kalibak's punch with ease...A Darksied to make zod look like a chump.

If this was marvel, Zod might be the main baddie in JLA and then team up with Superman later to face darksied.

I understand people are excited but "OMG this single cgi frame looks awful" is not legitimate critique imo.

Neither are random boot comparisons but there you go.

^ Exactly. We won't be PAUSING the movies. By the time we see that something looks off, it will be too fast to process or care bout. Are there obvious CG shots. Yes. But no worse then any recent blockbuster with heavy effects. And the flying sequences look awe-inspiring.

Its some of the best CG I've ever seen in a CBM.

I really don't see where the gripes are coming from. The only shots where I could maybe see a SLIGHT problem are the quick, blurry shots. Those do look sorta fake, but only because its blurry and extra detail can't be added like it can in a slow moving, lingering or still shot.

I haven't seen a bad CG shot in this movie yet. Best looking cbm hands down, imo.

Because Superman and Spiderman are the only movies that people complain about in terms of CG. I don't know why that is. Nobody ever says, the Hulk is too CG (which is what he's made of), or Captain America's shield is too CG when thrown, but Superman's an easy target.

^ Not trying to sound too disturbing, but in tv spot 8 it sounds like Shannon has difficulty talking, like his mouth is swollen or he's gargling blood. Yep, this movie seems violent.

I agree..sounds like cotton balls but if that is how he normally is talking the whole movie...I am not a fan. I hope its because he is in pain.

But on topic, it's 2 weeks before the film and at this point when all we have are tv spots, we're basically going to fall into 2 camps: hyping the movie up or nitpicking it. First-world problems, for sure, but eh, it's pretty damn fun t:
