I'm not saying it's Zod, there are other male Kryptonians there as well. Not sure about the cape question. And yeah her boots do look big, but different from the ones in the cornfield shot to me.

First problem, you're thinking of things in literal and fisticuff's terms. Batman(yes even Nolan's batman) could wipe the floor with Joker, yet it's that doesn't stop said enemy from doing major damage and inciting great plot.

Second problem being, you are insinuating lex works alone. Hardly.

Many argue it's the best/favorite superman tale thus far(many, not me).

The best part of the whole lex angle is that he hates our hero more than anyone, and it's justified in a twisted way.
-plz don't bring up Bryan Singer, he's a well known hack.

All that being said, I'm not saying I want lex next, but they should mention him. The dude pretty much runs that city.

2. No, not just thinking of fisticuffs stuff. Superman is also intelligent and not just brawn. If you had superman's powers and then you have a villian like lex who you know have murdered tons of ppl and plans your destructions, won't you just kill him and be done with??? All I am saying is that any 'humans' trying to plot against superman can easily be killed, end of story. The problem for me is they keep making superman out to be a boyscout, and a vegan though shall not kill, etc... anyways, just my opinion...

3. As for Superman vs Batman... the animated series or comics.. how would a punch from batman even move or hurt superman in the least big???? It's like a feather hitting you. I don't like plot-holes as large as these... you basically have to dumb down superman's strength and invulnerability for him to face off with any non-super powered beings...

Anyways, I guess I am more bothered with inconsistencies and logical fallacies than most... some would call me nit-pick... but that's how i am... my science fiction background doesn't help i guess...

After all that have been said, I do see your point of view... Lex is just too boring for me... and kevin spacey didn't help his character much either..

Honestly, at this point, we should just stop trying to analyze which Kryptonians Superman is fighting in which scene and just let the awesome imagery speak for itself.

If we did that, it would be too perfect and we might not be able to accept if the movie does not live to expectations.

Not talking about the show, if that's what you mean. Talking about that specific animated feature film.

glad you see my point....
I should say, nolan and singer and all these other people have given us incarnation of these batman and luthor characters that aren't really up to snuff as their comic book counter parts.

Lex and Bat's in the books are like what you see of the Joker in TDK on steroids. It's not easy for superman to deal with these people. Especially someone like batman who he doesn't see coming and knows all his secrets.

As for him not killing them, most heroes, not named punisher or Tony Stark don't kill people, it's a weakness but it's always a strength. There have been a few superman stories on this very issue.
