1. I might have to go back and check the panel again, but I think in Kara's dream or in that moment, she was being exposed to the rays from the Yellow Sun in the solar system for the first time, hence why she saw herself flying in her dream. I mean, it's just kind of hard to believe that even if it's something that they didn't know that they could do with their suit at the time, that with all of the advance technology that they have and the time difference between Kara's era and Jor-el's (I can't believe that I actually wrote that.lol) that they wouldn't be able to figure it out at some point in between
2. I'll say this much; I think Nolan is a great filmmaker, but certainly not perfect. I'm glad that he isn't the one directing MOS because his style wouldn't mesh well with what was/is needed to bring Superman back onto the big screen. And while I do think he's a capable storyteller, as we've seen with his past films, they all have their own set of issues if people look closely enough at them. If anything, I'd argue that the reason why some are just crazy about Nolan when it comes to his "involvement" with Superman is that they're hoping that Superman's franchise will garner the same level of success that his batman franchise did.
3. I can agree with that view and understand it for that matter. Honestly, as long as the directors don't go into a film with the mindset that Joel did for B&R, where he'd tell everyone before rolling a camera that they were doing a comic book film or a TV Toy Commercial (whichever of the two), thus putting that mindset into everyone that prevents them from performing at great level in a sense, then I'm good.
