not sure if this has been posted yet - IGN's set visit. some interesting information

"Jonathan Kent has compiled quite the collection of books about the cosmos, aliens, and UFOs over the years, it seems. In addition, the wall has a collection of strange happenings around the world – particularly in Smallville – that all seem to be connected to his search for answers about his son.
UFO sightings, abductions, pyramids, and more adorn the walls of the barn"

You have to CLOSE the ending tags with a dash for SPOILERS to be hidden.
So it's BRACKETS SPOILER-insert comment-BRACKET SPOILER DASH BRACKET. :)

I'd like to think that for all of the specific weakness that Snyder, Goyer, and Nolan have as storytellers and filmmakers, that they were able to cover for each other with their individual talents and specialties.
I never saw Sucker Punch but Snyder wrote it and it apparently wasnt that good so Goyer, C. Nolan and J. Nolan got the writing part covered. :woot:

This. Goyer-For comic stuff-Nolan for complex ideas and a sense of internal reality-Snyder-for world-building, concrete-shattering-and awesome casting (And yes, I feel like without Snyder, Cavill might not be Superman).
I just watched the BTS featurette and everyone had very nice things to say about Zack's directing style so Id include that as well.

Well, he's very relaxed with actors, but also passionate about his work. I think that approach will yield strong performances. I think he's an underrated director, and the best at replicating comic panels.

I really think the "what the suit can do" refers to the material and function of the suit and its purpose as an environmental suit.

I agree. I think when they say the suit has a purpose, it means it has purpose on Krypton and/or using Kryptonian technology. The fact that superman wears it is simply accepting his Kryptonian heritage, or to control aspects of the fortress.

I remember seeing something with Russel Crowe where he was asked if Jor-El flies in the movie. He replied, "No. That's Henry's thing.."

So is Zod not actually in the movie, because I remember them saying that Zod wasn't in the movie....

nor do I.

Like I said, I'm 99.99% sure they're not going that route.

it would be so extremely stupid and , especially when all they've talked about is how much they love the character.

maybe the cape can retract into the suit for storage. or the whole suit can retract.

I hope that's what they mean, like the suit can store the cape or that the suit can hold the armor

Gotta love that realism.

What is it about gifs that make these shots infinitely cooler?

Probably because they are on a loop and i have time to process them. They look wonderful.

Dude! That sounds awesome!
Okay, last thing. Did you catch Barry's portrayal on 'Young Justice'? What little he was in, I really liked. Loved the voice actor too. A guy from 'CSI' I believe.

Uh... Back back to Superman! :oldrazz:

Haha thanks, man! And yeah, I did actually, I liked it a lot! They drew a lot of inspiration from Cary Bates' Flash stuff for Barry in the show, old school Flash, I loved how they portrayed him on that, I would love to see a series like that. And it was definitely cool the voice actor (George Eads I think...?) is on another show where he has Barry's job pretty much! Lol

Anyway yes, umm...back to Superman! Haha.

WHERE ARE THOSE TWEETS?!?!?!? :cmad:

This would make Clark 29 years old when he become Superman (assuming if the film takes place in 2013)

And just where is this info from kind sir? Pretty cool stuff

MORE FUN FACTS
Krypton was formed 8.7 billion years ago.

It's population was only 1.4 billion people.

It had 4 moons (1 of which was partially destroyed)

Film doesn't have a specific date of when **** goes down. It is summarised as 2012/2013

Cool facts thanks for posting, Reel.

Noticing in the gif... Zod's battle armor makes him look like he is encased in a converter belt material. I'm a little worried about how it's going to come across on screen.

Credits:

Story: Goyer + Nolan
Script: Goyer
Direct: Snyder

Why is this not enough for us?

I can't be arsed spoiler tagging this lone fact I forgot but about 70% of Krypton's surface is land.

Well that, and the fact that they don't have "metal" on Krypton apparently and use "Bone Marrow" instead.

cool facts!!

I'm interested to know what the typical Kryptonian lifespan is and how time is measured on Krypton vs Earth.

cuz that would help clear up what happened to Kara and her potential fate.

Well if Kara made it back to one of those hibernation chambers, then even if a regular kryptonian's lifespan is similar to a human's one, she could still be alive.

My version of the Credits:

Story: Goyer + Nolan & fanfiction.com
Script: Goyer & a lot of on set improv thus the some language.
Direct: Snyder (Nolan jerked the camera and filmed the scene at Sears)

sounds like Goyer is teasing that the "Kneel before Zod" line is indeed in the movie....I'm sure it will be as several people have heard it in the Zod trailers
